  • BERT'S ELECTRIC & PLUMBING
    5.0
As I was replacing our old refrigerator, I attempted to shut off the old (20+ years) supply line valve, and it crumbled in my hand, spraying water everywhere. I immediately contacted Bert's, and they responded ASAP, thereby minimizing the possible damage and my visible frustration. We have been using Bert's for over 15 years, and they are always our FIRST CALL when we need service - planned or emergency. I would invite anyone to come view the many works they've performed for our houses over the years. PROFESSIONAL in both Quality and Attitude. Thank Yo

  • Plumb Plumbing

We have used Plumb Plumbing for 12 years. We live in an old house that frequently has issues. Most recently we had a leak in the bathtub line fixed, new faucets installed and an outdoor pipe leak fixed. Their work is excellent and if there is ever a problem afterwards, they are quick to respond. I wouldn't use anyone else. Also, all their plumbers are really good at cleaning up

  • Just Water Heaters

i sent a text on their website on sunday 1/16/2021 and to my surprise received a call back within 2 hours,on a sunday, and was absoluely amazed that roberto said they could schedule me for a new 50 gallon propane water heater installation for 1/17/2021, the next day, a national holiday at 7 a.m.!! i told him that we were out of hot water and was surprised they could fit me in so quickly. today, at 7 a.m.,alan p., the technician arrived promptly and within 2 hours has removed the old water heater, only 6 years old(a.o.smith) and replaced with a new Bradford White, which has lasted me in the past for 15 years. I am pleased that this company exceeded all my expectations and that alan p. is an outstanding technician who demonstrated his experience in all facets of this installation. i am also pleased that they carry water heaters ( Rheem, Bradford White,Ruud) that are superior to many others available from other companies. All in all, i could not be more pleased with this experience. It is refreshing in these times to find a company that not only takes care of their customers but obviously takes care of their employees as demonstrated by the enthusiasm and professionalism which this technician,Alan Pruitt, took care of my problem efficiently, and i might add, happily! this is a great company and do not hesitate in calling them when you need a new water heater. Trust me, i give them my highest recommendation and will only refer my friends, family, and clients(i am a realtor) to this company. Outstanding work!!!!

  • RiteWayAC

We had a water leak in the wall of the house that led to a flood in the garage. Luckily, we caught it in time and shut the water off. We called RiteWay and were lucky enough to have their employee, Jeremy Fisher, come to our rescue. This gentleman is polite, patient, extremely knowledgeable and did the repairs in record time. He explained everything and discussed our options. His professionalism is above par and he will be the only plumber we use from now on. In fact, if I owned a plumbing company, I would hire Jeremy away from RiteWay! I hope that RiteWay knows how lucky they are to have him working for them. Thank you so much for helping us solve our plumbing issues

Matt answered my call immediately and came out to give us a ballpark estimate right away. He is extremely busy and works with a small crew, but he scheduled us in quickly. The work was done professionally and totaled out at the low end of his estimate. He was very clean and efficient.

Plumbing FAQ

  1. How much does a plumber cost?

Answer: The cost of a plumber ranges from $175 to $480, with a national average of $330. However, the price will vary depending on job complexity, timing, location, supplies and materials, permits, and level of expertise. These costs typically include toilet repairs, faucet installations, and leaky pipes. In addition to the service call, you may also need to budget for haul-away and trip fees often required during more complicated jobs. Ask your local plumbing contractor about these fees before hiring them.

  2. How much does a plumber charge to replace a toilet?

Answer: On average, you can expect to pay your local plumbing contractor between $125 and $230 to replace an old toilet, with most residential homeowners paying around $150 to $180 for professional installation. You’ll need to consider materials and labor when calculating a final price. Not all toilets are equal. Depending on the brand you choose and the features you want, a new toilet might run you anywhere from $100 to $1,300. Add in the price of labor and installation, and your total project can jump up to $200 and $1,500.

  3. How much does a plumber cost to fix a toilet?

Answer: According to our service providers, it costs roughly $75 to $200 on average to have your toilet repaired. However, this price will vary depending on the complexity of the job and the materials needed for the fix. Repairs can be messy and less-than-pleasant to address, but having a functioning toilet is most definitely necessary. If you’re experiencing problems with your toilet, contact a local, reputable plumbing contractor right away, as avoiding repairs can lead to bigger—and more expensive—issues over time.

  4. Is liquid plumber safe for septic systems?

Answer: Good news! Liquid-Plumr® is safe for septic systems. Most drain cleaners disrupt the pH in your septic tank, which prevents the good bacteria from breaking down septic waste. The chemical make-up in Liquid-Plumr® works with the bacteria to break down waste quickly without harming your septic system. Still, it’s best to confirm with your local plumbing provider if Liquid-Plumr® is the right solution for your system.

  5. How much is it for a plumber to unclog a toilet?

Answer: Even the most well-maintained toilets experience clogs. It’ll cost you an average of $200 to $700 to unclog your toilet. Severe clogs will require a more comprehensive repair method, so check with your local plumbing contractor to determine the best approach for unclogging your toilet.

  6. Is Liquid-Plumr®, or any other liquid drain cleaner, safe for septic systems?

Answer: Yes and no. Liquid-Plumr® and other drain cleaners are most effective when used sparingly (one to three times a year). Repeated use of liquid plumber on drains could deteriorate your pipes and cause more damage. If your pipes clog frequently, put down the liquid plumber and call your local plumbing contractor immediately.
