I chose Pioneer because I had heard about the company's donation of materials and work to help out a homeowner that needed whole-house re-plumb when they were dealing with their child's treatment for cancer. I decided that is the kind of business I wanted to give my job to - one that cares about the community."

While the project took one day longer than originally estimated, the system itself appears to be working well. However, communication was lacking; the team never followed up to check on our satisfaction, nor did they provide the promised instructions on how to maintain our tankless water heater. While the system is largely maintenance-free, it does require a filter change annually and a recharge every 8–10 years. Given current inflation, I am concerned about the potential future cost of that recharge. Overall, the work was satisfactory, but I would have appreciated better follow-through and customer service."

Pro tips 1) ask what the added charges will be 2) uncover the tanks yourself 3) spray down the solids tank (hose water) and 4) clean your own filter before contractors arrive, save yourself $345."
