Small jobs welcome

"Teton Movers of Jackson did a stellar job. We needed beds moved between 3 floors. They were efficient, polite and tidy. They even helped me move my big heavy vacuum without me asking. We were in a bind because the company that was supposed to deliver our new mattress got nervous about our rural driveway. I had already made an appointment for moving furniture around and Peter at Teton Movers arranged for the nervous driver to deliver the mattress to their warehouse and Teton Movers delivered it the next day, as well as moving our furniture. I can recommend them as Peter went out of his way to make everything go smoothly. Jean Benedict"

"Our moving team was right on time, very efficient and respectful. They did an excellent job packing a very full truck for a cross country move. When we got there, nothing shifted, nothing broke. They were great, would highly recommend!!"

Moving questions, answered by experts

Since mirrors are fragile, it’s important to find an experienced moving company that can properly move fragile items. You should always consider online reviews and testimonials. If you don’t know where to start, these tips to hiring the best movers can help.

Products that are hazardous, such as aerosol sprays, top the list of what to leave behind during a move. Avoid packing perishables, garden and garage chemicals, pool supplies, compressed gases, and combustible items. If you are trying to move by yourself, you may want to downsize so you have fewer belongings to pack and move (and then unpack).

Yes, it’s worth the cost to hire professional long-distance movers. Professional movers will ensure your household belongings reach your destination safely and efficiently—with many companies already having made similar moving trips recently. Also, professional movers have the proper equipment and experience to ensure your move goes smoothly.

Moving a grill by yourself is possible, as long as you’re careful. If your grill has wheels, you can simply wheel it to your desired location—or to a moving vehicle if you’re transporting it to a new location. Before moving a grill, make sure it’s cool and clean. And, if you need help moving heavy furniture items, a pro can help.

Yes, you can move a tiny house on skids, although it will be costly to do so frequently. Skids are essentially hefty timbers you can attach a chain to to move the entire structure. People often build their tiny homes on top of the skids, allowing them to be more portable. However, it’s not as simple of a move as a house on wheels, so it’s a more complicated move.
