Numerous antiques & furniture provided for sale by consignment. Promised monthly accountings, payments. After no response for months, called, was told checks being sent out. 2 months later (Dec) received check for items sold in Sept/Oct. Again no update, accounting, etc. for months. Called again and told she considered items forfeited. After complaining, said we could remove unsold items. Contacted auction house repeatedly for pick up, and after several weeks, they confirmed would go to see how many items & size to move to auction. Emailed Emporium to tell them finally had auction house ready to stop by and she said too late, she donated one item, sold others at discount and rest forfeited. Then after arguing via email, said could pick up 3 items w/in 24 hours. Told no way to pick up as working and no truck and auction house agreed, also asked for receipts, etc. Became nasty and said tired of waiting, threatened law suit, and offered to resolve for 50% of the commission owed for items sold, kept and/or donated. She refuses, says is mailing contract, which we never received and asked for in January, and several times since. Extremely unprofessional, no paperwork provided, lied about what she did/did not do, non-responsive, Conversion of property, never provided any notice or even phone call before unilaterally donating items and claiming to forfeit items. At this point will be proceeding with small claims suit
