"Pool and Spa-service for June 2014, only 60 days/Complaints on Spa only not pool. A Complaint filed 2 years later in 2016. Per Mrs. [Removed Member Name]’ request, their fiberglass spa was to be treated with chemicals purchased by them. (Spa Choice/Oxy-Spa, blue color) We advised NOT to use these but Mrs. [Member Name Removed] insisted. Shortly after using their chemicals, the spa water turned blue, we drained and cleaned and refilled. We suggested AGAIN not to use those chemicals. Homeowner requested a service call to evaluate gas heater. A licensed tech was dispatched and reported heater had to be replaced (heat exchanger was bad) due to incorrect wiring to electrical and to gas (installation by another company). He also noted it was full of “blue” chemicals that circulated from the spa. Homeowner hired another company to go out and inspect heater. Jupiter Pool Service let homeowner know heater exchanger was bad, no reason given. Mr. & Mrs. [Member Name Removed] automatically assigned blame on Pool Doctor. Pool Doctor graciously placed a claim for client and insurance adjuster visited homeowner and found Pool Doctor NOT negligible. The Insurance adjuster tried contacting Mr. [Member Name Removed] who did not dispute Insurance adjusters findings. Insurance closed [Member Name Removed] file March 2015. Mr. [Member Name Removed] reported to Angie’s List February 2016. *NO response, *UNPAID bill, husband *MISPLACED BLAME for wife’s refusal to listen to company regarding adding her own chemicals. Pool Doctor has detailed communications as well as documented pictures of the chemicals Mrs. [Member Name Removed] used. No complaints on pool, but spa was difficult to maintain because Mrs. [Member Name Removed] kept adding own chemicals that destroyed their system. We aim to satisfy 97% of our customers. This customer falls into the 3% that are never satisfied."
"This review confuses us. In 2013, we provided this review with a FREE estimate to perform a drain and acid wash. We have never performed a new home audit. We never performed any work at all. No invoice or charge was sent because we did nothing that cost anything. Maybe the reviewer has us confused. We show no record of working with this person or ever charging anyone at this address."
