"I was so grateful to Watry Homes for the work replacing my gutters/soffit and fascia
Dave Watry of Watry Homes came over to my house, got on roof, and explained exactly what needed to be done in words I understood. I felt I got a great deal. They contracted with a gutter place from Oostburg. Now I have great looking, working gutters with the special mesh so we don't have to clean them out every fall."

"Politely said, Sparky is the boss.
We needed electricity and HDMI ran from a cabinet in our great room up above our fireplace so we could mount a TV. Also needed cable and electricity ran to a wall in our master bedroom so we could mount our TV on the wall.
Sparky showed up on a Friday afternoon, five minutes early. Assessed the situation, and before he left, said he would look into how much parts/etc would cost, and he would call me with a bid. Sunday night I received a text from him with a bid, we set up a time for him to come for the install on 8/22 at 9am.
Sparky showed up at 8:59, and got to work. I came home from lunch to outlets installed where I had asked, cable ran, everything was great. He could not find the specific outlet cover for AC / Cable, but it will not be visible once the TV is mounted, so it is not of real concern.
I was a little uncomfortable mounting the brackets for our TV on the walls, as the studs were located in odd places - and I didn't trust myself to mount a $1,000 60" plasma anywhere that wasn't on a small stand. ha!
I asked if he would mind installing the mounts if I kicked him some extra $$, and he gladly obliged to stay longer than he had originally intended. He even went so far as to use his own screws/mounting bolts that were FAR superior to the ones that were provided in the kit.
Couldn't be happier. Should we plan on doing any other electrical work / lighting in the future, Sparky will be our first call.

"He had a cancellation and was able to come out the day I called. He verified that we actually didn't have mold growing in the one area. Since that area was connected to an indoor hot tub room, he checked the tub room just to verify that all was ok in there. He gave me some tips on preventing mold in that tub room and informed me about some other areas to watch (as this was in the basement and we have had water get inside with heavy rain) and I asked him about some marks on my basement ceiling. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Will definitely be calling if need for future services."

"I've worked with many contractors over the years and JJB is the best I've worked with for residential remodeling. That's no small statement. JJB is responsive, communicative, on-time and on-schedule, does not cut corners, always willing to tackle new issues or problems that arise during construction, respectful of neighbors / other tenants, and very fairly priced for the quality of work that they provide. We even had some city permitting issues from prior construction that JJB was able to take on and get cleared up. I can't express how much headache this saved me! On top of being great contractors, Joe and Jeff and their team are also just great people - very personable, easy to communicate with, and a pleasure to be around. They really desire to make their customers happy and to do good work. You won't find any cheap shortcuts or shoddy work with this team. When the time comes for another construction job in the area, they will be my first call. I really can't give much of a higher recommendation than that!"

"He was professional. His estimate was in between; not the highest not the lowest. He tuck pointed a couple of little spots that were not on the chimney flash. We ended up asking him to put chimney covers as well. We talked that through. The only problem, in fact we mentioned it today, we had was that he should have cleaned the gutters which had a lot of sand in them. The sand was probably left over from the job he did. He did not clean it when he finished the job. He wasn?t too pleased about that. If he had not cleaned up our gutters, the sand would have clogged our down stout. They came back to do the cocking on the roof. It was too wet to do that earlier. Perhaps they were in a hurry and did not clean up. Everything else was fine. He did a good job. The price was reasonable. He gave us a 10% discount. From thoroughness to getting up on the roof and doing the work, he seemed to do a fine job. If I use them in future, I will ask them more questions before using them. We had tuck pointing done before by another person. We called him. His quote was lower but we did not think that he could be thorough. We had received another quote for $5000."
