He told us what the issue was, forgot to order the part, didn't call. When he finally came back he said he misdiagnosed the issue but charged us anyways!

"This is what was performed by Horsch & Miller on 12/30/14 and the cost was $205.00 not $400.00 as stated by customer. Horsch & Miller attempted to replace the trim on the basement bathroom drain assembly but the brass drain body was too deteriorated to replace the trim. Replacement of the tub drain is required to resolve the issue. The wall behind the tub/shower will need to be opened up to allow access to the drain. The tub/shower valve is older and difficult to turn on, it is recommended to replace the tub/shower trim at the same time."

It turned out great. They did the job promptly and at a very reasonable price. The plumber was great and he sat down with us and when through each item on the estimate. I trusted him with everything. He got the job done in about 2 hours.

Jeremy gave me an overview of my plumbing needs and then fixed the two most troubling areas of the house. He did an excellent job. He was informative and friendly. He was honest in his appraisal of my house's plumbing needs.I appreciate Jeremy's frankness in helping me prioritize my needs and offering estimates. I highly recommend this company. My only questions are about using their sink, for example, or purchasing my own sink and having them install that sink. I will have to do some research on this.

Came in on a kind of wet day and installed the shutoff. Tore up the yard doing it but it was somewhat of an emergence. I threw down some new dirt and some grass seed.

Scott showed up punctually and immediately diagnosed the problem. I was concerned about patching the ceiling drywall and he came up with the alternative of using a plastic access panel which he had handy in his truck, which made the repair much quicker and cheaper. In order to make the process more efficient he asked that I push up on the pipe from below while he caulked the drain upstairs.
I think the whole process took about an hour and a half, but he only needed my assistance for about 10 minutes.
I'm satisfied with the outcome, though it wasn't cheap for what I got. Ideally the drywall would have been patched but Horsch & Miller doesn't really do that. And I don't mind having an access panel in case something like this happens again.

They provided an estimate on Monday and were back out on Tuesday. The job was completed for the estimated price and was done with high quality workmanship.

I have used them for both plumbing and heating issues. We had to reconfigure our kitchen plumbing and add some things because this is an older home. We had a new sink and dishwasher installed. They did a very good job for a reasonable price in a very reasonable timeframe. The person that answers the phone is very knowledgeable. You don’t have to explain things to her a million times. She knows what it is that you are looking for. They also come out in a very timely manner. Sometimes they even come out the same day or at least the next day. They are very good at being able to get to you especially to diagnose the problem. They carry everything that they need with them to also fix things. They don’t have to generally come back. We have an old home with an odd heating system. We haven’t run into any issues with them not having the necessary parts and stuff. For me their service charge is expensive but for Wisconsin it could be reasonable.

Their professionalism really stands out and their service people present themselves very well. The technicians are on time; if they are going to be delayed they call. The clean up after themselves and I have recommended them to other people. They were recommended to us by our home builder and put in our furnace 21 years ago. I never had any trouble with them on warranty issues and their pricing is realistic. I will use them again in the future.

- repairman arrived within 2 hours of our call to this vendor. Very professional and polite. He started testing the "easy" items first - circuits, pressure switch, wiring, etc. Proceeded to test the actual pump - unfortunately it was shot. Discussed replacing pump - also decided to upgrade system to current code. This probably added around $300 to cost of project.
- next morning another repairman arrived with new pump. Had some difficulty pulling old pump, but finally got it out. Did everything that we agreed was needed.
Very pleased with professionalism, promptness and neatness. Will definitely use this vendor again for our plumbing needs.

The price was reasonable, they gave us a lot of options and products to review. They were not high pressure sales and they offered a reasonable maintenance agreement as well. They are wonderful about reminders about maintenance. They're very nice, courteous, informative and are very very good about the service they provide. They're also convenient to us.

They were on site Saturday morning within 1 hour of calling. Overall, I am happy with their services. I feel their price was a little on the high side, however.
