Considering the age of the unit and the upcoming change in AC coolants we bit the bullet and purchased a new 2.5 ton Lennox unit. We got an appointment for an installation about 10 days away (it couldn't get here soon enough). The crew arrived at 8:30 on the designated. They removed the old unit, strung new hoses to the furnace unit, did a bit of duct fabrication, and were on the way to their next job by noon. "I talked to Nick who was good enough to send a technician out the very same day that I scheduled the service. The technician, Dan, was very prompt, thorough and friendly. He cleaned and sanitized 10+ vents, HVAC system, returns, supply lines, main line, and the dryer vent which was on the roof. There were no surprises and no surprise expenses ... no nickle-and-diming when Guardian needed an extra part or fitting ... no drama. Guardian simply got the job done. And they did it beautifully. They took care to minimize the time I would be without water and without heat. After installation, they thoroughly tested the unit. The next day, they checked back to ensure that I was satisfied with its performance. They also cleaned up reasonably when they were done and were carefully not to damage my property, as they moved large, heavy pieces of equipment and tools around. In summary: a big Thumbs Up for Guardian heating and Cooling, LLC!"
