I took the course for a contractors qualifiers license and there were so many violations, it is almost comical. Mike Garcia, MAE Contracting seemed nice enough in the beginning. After we gave him $5,500 down for materials, we did not see him for 41 days and things went downhill from there. He said he had a crew, no crew. He honestly said too many things to list that turned out to be obvious lies. We highly recommend that you do not use this company to build a simple deck."

"Ken was fantastic from start to finish. I hired him to remove an old basketball hoop, pour new cement, and install a new one. The job turned out to be much tougher than expected—the old cement was nearly impossible to break up and the clay ground was hard to dig deeper for the required dept —but Ken handled it like a pro, using a jackhammer and digging through hard clay soil without complaint. Despite the extra work and materials needed, he stuck to his original price even when I asked to pay him more, which speaks volumes about his integrity. He returned a few days later to assemble the hoop, and the final result was perfect—every measurement was spot-on. Ken went above and beyond, and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again. Highly recommended!"
