Scott was awesome. I got a call at 7PM on 2/5 stating the house was at 58 degrees & it didn't appear the furnace was working. I immediately went to Angies list to find an Heating contractor. Almost before I finished clicking on submit for my project, Scott was on the phone telling me he was 20 minutes or less away. We met at the house, he opened up the furnace & tried to trouble shoot. Admitted the parts that probably failed he didn't have on his truck - my furnace was 31 years old - but he was willing to try to find the parts if that was what I wanted to do - even took pics of the parts that were suspect to show his supplier on Monday. Sanity prevailed and I opted to replace the furnace, it had a long and useful life and needed to die a dignified death. He provided 2 space heaters so that at least the living room and bed room would be tolerable for 2.5 days (awesome service) with the planned new furnace installed on Tuesday 2/12. Scott got some info from me on the house size and on Monday morning he quoted me a new furnace installed with old one hauled away at a very reasonable price. He suggested install on 2/11 because of the predicted snow storm on 2/12. Had it at the house by 11:30 AM and was done with whole thing by 3PM. He was professional, explained how the new furnace operated in the same manner he explained what could be wrong with the old one, and is a contractor I will recommend and hire again - most likely for AC unit later this year. I felt no pressure to do more than I was willing to do - If I had thought it could be repaired I would have - and that goes a long way with me.

Scott was a very nice and knowledgeable repair man. He explained things as he was going along as to what we might need to have done soon and also in the future. We had him fix everything as long as he was here. He was here in less than an hour. The temp in our house was only 61 degrees when he got there. The temp in the next few days was going to be below 0 with -50 degree wind chills. I would recommend him to anyone.
