"Thanks [Member Name Removed]! We appreciate your business..."
every thing went smoothly they were in and out in one day. it took them about 6 hrs to remove and install. and the price I was very pleased with it.
Contacted the manufacturer . Got a response on 7/2/14 from ALLIED AIR Enterprises in South Carolina.
They will do NOTHING.
I continue to be a VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER of
1ST CHOICE HEATING AND COOLING OF WAUKESHA WI
"This customer signed a contract in March 2011 for 1st Choice to install his equipment. We did not build or manufacture this equipment. His contract clearly stated the warranty terms, 1 year labor, 5 yrs. parts & 20 year heat exchanger warranty. His system ran for all of 2011 with no problems. We performed maintenance in 2012 and the unit was operating per manufacturer specifications. We performed maintenance in 2013 and our technician found a heating issue. We replaced a motor & board, the parts were covered under warranty and customer was responsible for labor. As a customer service we only charged customer $50 labor for both repairs (he didn't want to pay any labor) when he should have paid between $125-$225. Customer was unhappy with having to pay any labor and insisted on distributor name & phone # so he could get reimbursed for the labor. Customer called June 2014 for no cooling service call....tech found a leak in the coil and told customer charges would be anywhere between $600-$900 for labor, refrigerant & solder (not covered under warranty). There has not been the same or ongoing problem with the system...these are two separate incidents, one for heat and one for cooling. The distributor indicated that there was nothing they or the factory could do because labor warranty had expired. We gave the customer the phone number for factory but he refused it. Even though the distributor and factory told him they wouldn't do anything, 1st Choice, again, offered to give customer a discounted rate on labor/refrigerant and solder but he still refused the offer saying he wasn't paying for anything. We have maintained our end of the contract that the customer signed (he signed knowing what the warranty terms were) even going beyond, by discounting the labor on his repair in 2013. We have offered to discount this repair as well, which shows that we are all about customer satisfaction and are willing to help our customers within reason."
"We have no record of this customer's name or address in our system....could you please verify that we serviced this location by calling us at 262-547-2030"
