"My attic was poorly ventilated — damp, musty, and overdue for attention. After deciding to bring in a professional, Randy came out to my home, thoroughly assessed the problem areas, and put together a detailed quote on the spot. The scope of work included removal of the existing insulation, air sealing around all attic entry points, sanitizing, air baffle installation, and installation of new Weather Blanket cellulose insulation. "I am satisfied with the work. He repaired the hole in my drywall, matched the texture and then painted the surface. He gave me a reasonable quote and he was very prompt. He went to sherman williams to get match my drywall paint and charged me quite reasonably. The completed work is very smooth and I am happy with the quality. "It went very well, Chris and his team painted the complete exterior of our two story Dutch Colonial home. Included all siding, Windows and trim. They even removed the gutters and reinstalled them. The complete house was Mad Dog Primed and two coats of Sherwin Williams paint. Outstanding job! After 4 plus years our house still looks freshly painted and beautiful. Chris is a man of his word. He does what he says he will do and makes sure your expectations are met completely.

In some minor cases, you can DIY drywall repair with minimal time and money spent. This method is best when you have a hole made by a singular problem, such as accidental furniture moving, and not a continuous problem, like a rodent infestation. 

Knowing what product to use is crucial. For example, small holes only need spackle, whereas large holes might need a new piece of drywall. You can flex your DIY abilities on this project, but if you’d like a second opinion or have a more significant problem, it’s best to call in a drywall repair pro.

You may need to replace drywall because of smoke damage. If the drywall is covered in soot, you may be able to clean it, but it will require a lot of time and effort.
