"Good work in general; our basement no longer sees water for over 3 years now, which is the most important thing. But there were some real issues: The biggest issue is that USW did not adhere to local electrical codes, and did not arrange for a final inspection of the project. So we didn't find out that it wasn't to code until years later, and now it's a big hassle and minor cost to fix and get the permits. Ask your local gov yourself what you need to do for permits and inspections; don't rely on USW! USW said they would seal any foundation cracks found along the way; they didn't do this until I bugged the warranty dept about it (but they did do it eventually). USW sent someone out for the "annual checkup"... over 2 years after the install. It's a good thing they (eventually) did, because they discovered the backup battery wasn't charging. Now I know to check this stuff better myself. Prices also vary wildly and are kind of negotiable (I'd give more detail but I'm out of space)"

"Where do I begin with this review. I stopped at the West Allis Farmers Market AND the West Allis Car Show where the booth was busy and I waited for a chance to enter for the yeti cooler drawing and an inspection after the flood this summer. The conversations that were happening around the booth from what seemed like employees or friends of employees is what caused me to walk away TWICE. I am not sure what kind of company you'd like to be known for but the conversations I heard were appalling to say the least. But I went to the review page and saw comments from the General Manager when a potential customer had voiced concerns - this is the example your employees follow. They are a product of this type of environment. Sounds like you need to get a handle on your staff from the front desk all the way up to your GM. Sleeping around, moving from department to department. Might want to get a handle on that before you have an STD outbreak on your hands. Id hate to be the significant other or spouse of an employee that works here. And after reading the reviews I'd hate to be a paying customer bullied by a company. I also have a "no soliciting" sign and what was left in my door. Soliciting. But reading reviews I have seen this multiple times being expressed. Education stated it was provided but seems the GM fell short here too."

Arx Innovations, LLC is currently a sole proprietor, multi-faceted business. Typically I bid smaller projects and am able to provide a high level of quality while saving my customers in some cases, substantial amounts of money. Even though my forte is masonry related applications, I have a significant amount of experience in other applications as well. I will not bid on a project if I believe I cannot provide the highest level of quality and professionalism. If there is a larger project that you would like me to place a bid on, I would also be willing to hire employees on a temporary basis for your project needs. For new customers, I typically require a down payment of 50% on the day of the jobs commencement. Please contact Arx Innovations, LLC and I would be glad to show you options which may save you money. Also, since this is my first year as an LLC, I would like to offer a $50 good will referral fee from any job over $500 labor cost after final payment is received.

Foundation Repair questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can live with a cracked foundation—in fact, most people do. Virtually all foundations crack from normal settlement, and while settling cracks benefit from sealing to prevent water and moisture intrusion, most aren’t an issue. If you have structural cracks in your foundation, it might be safe to live in your home for some time, but you should address them immediately to prevent structure collapse and major property damage.

You'll find a slurry of natural and synthetic polymers, rubbers, epoxies, and resins used to bond old concrete to new concrete. The right bonding agent depends on the method of concrete pouring you choose and whether you're adhering concrete over concrete or concrete over sand and gravel. Some concrete resurfacing mixtures contain bonding chemicals as well.

Periodic inspections and addressing drainage issues prevent further damage.

If improperly installed, an egress window can compromise your foundation’s structural integrity, so it’s important to work with a pro to ensure your foundation remains in good shape. Any money you may save on a DIY egress window installation may cost you in the long run if your foundation is damaged in the process.

It depends on the severity of the damage, lasting from a few days to several weeks.
