We reached out to Dan with the issue of freezing pipes and cold rooms in our old house. Dan inspected the house and proposed a plan to remedy these issues. Aside from the more traditional air sealing and insulation solutions, Dan also recommended insulating the area of our house above our soffit, which was difficult to access but that appeared to be a major insulation issue. I should add the other firms we requested quotes for did not identify this area in their proposal. I firmly believe the proposals from the other firms would not have fixed our issues. Dan worked for ~2 weeks on air sealing our attic and house, adding insulation to our attic, removing our soffit and adding insulation and reinstalling soffit. Work was done well and within budget and at a fair price. Dan is very easy to work with and takes pride in his work. We are very happy to report our pipes have not frozen and the cold rooms are no longer cold - would highly recommend Dan to others - he went above and beyond.

Dan did a great job showing me all of the ways my home was losing heat in the winter and then fixed the issues. Really nice guy, informative, hard working. Not only did he install lots of insulation he also sealed cracks, vented bathroom fans, sealed up an old kitchen fan, etc. He showed up as promised and completed the work in a very timely manner.

We hired Dan to insulate our attic. Dan explained all the issues we had (bathroom fans not connected to the outside, air gaps on the recessed lights, etc.). Over the course of three days Dan corrected all the issues and installed new insulation. Dan is very professional, detail oriented and a super nice guy! We would definitely recommend him to others. He was very responsive; seemed to have done a good job. Very nice. Not very professional though: he never discussed the kind of insulation he planned to use or provide an invoice or even a business card.

Dan did a great job insulating my attic. He did exactly what he said he would do, on time and at the quoted cost. He was very thorough in his work, applied foam sealant, installed baffles, installed bathroom vent access thru roof and installed blow in insulation. Nice guy as well. I'd hire him again.

Dan was very thorough in explaining the issues with our current insulation and what he could do to improve the insulation in our attic. He was able to squeeze us in a few days early and completed the work within the time frame he had proposed. He walked us through everything he did and how it would help with our concerns. I hired Daniel to do my attic insulation. He did a fantastic job over the course of the two days, taking his time to seal all air gaps, route the bathroom and kitchen exhaust vents to the outside and then blow in the proper insulation. Dan insulated our crawlspace and the foundation sill plate (around 80% of the basement where it was accessible). His quote was reasonable and his knowledge of the products and how to apply them to meet our goal was fantastic. The ambient temperature in the basement has risen a few degrees and is now more comfortable. I would definitely work with Dan again for future projects and highly recommend him and his work.

Daniel was fantastic throughout the entire process. From the first visit to go over what was found and the estimate, to the quality of the job done. Dan is an absolutely top knotch guy to work with and did all of the work himself. He insulated both my attic and crawl space. He takes his time to answer your questions and explain the work to be done. I felt like he was working on his own house, seeing the level of care that he put into mine. I was lucky to find him and have already recommended him to my son and his wife. Dan is as good as it gets.

Overall working with Dan was a great experience. I had hired Dan to perform an energy audit. I had the attic insulated to R-38, but one room was still rather chilly. I needed the audit to pinpoint the issue. Now I know each area of infiltration and how to address each. Finally, Dan spotted an issue with my hot water heater. I'm especially grateful of this last point. Dan obviously knows his stuff and has the experience to back it up. I highly recommend him for energy audits.

Dan was only supposed to replace tile in our foyer. He was so meticulous and nice to work with, we actually asked him to install light fixtures, ceiling fanS, can lighting in our kitchen, remodel a guest bathroom and a full bathroom. He did a great job, we would hire him again in a heartbeat and have referred him to family and neighbors.
