"Excellent. Our home is in Olympia and Otto drove south to look at our project and provide a proposal. We have exotic wood floors that needed full sand down and small section needing repair. He researched the proper matching wood for the repair section and completed the project in three days, one day ahead of schedule. It looks fantastic! The cost was reasonable and the care they took to protect out home from dust and debris was impressive. We are selling this home and the wood floors now look very impressive. Should help us get top dollar in this market."

"I had my hardwood floors refinished and the results are amazing—the floors look brand new. This was the only company willing to take on the job since others said it was too complicated. Their years of experience really showed, and they finished the work quickly without cutting corners. I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. If you need hardwood floors refinished, I’d definitely recommend this team—they know what they’re doing. My go-to the next time I have a flooring project."

"Rick did an exceptional job installing hardwood flooring throughout our house. He is an expert craftsman that delivers flawless results. His installations are high quality because he pays attention to details and has excellent carpentry skills. He has a dustless system so no mess. He was a pleasure to work with, always on time, and cleaned up at the end of the day making it easy to live in our home during the installation. I highly recommend Rick."

"Hugo is easy to work with and he is punctual and dependable. He put in a sub floor and a new oak floor in my bedroom.. It was finished beautifully and I was impressed on how the wood floor met the marble floor of my bathroom. He also sanded and refinished the rest of my home with a water base finish.. He is trustworthy and his prices are very reasonable."

"The floors look fabulous. They did a really good job. He is very responsible and responsive and got everything done on time at the price we had agreed on. These were hardwood floors that haven't been refinished in 70 years. He really brought them back to life."

"Greg was punctual and professional. We got several bids, and he wasn't the lowest, but his experience and enthusiasm made him our choice. Knowing that he performs the work himself, and doesn't send anonymous helpers was a big plus. Greg did a great job on the sanding and finishing, and 6 months later, we are still happy with the floors. So happy in fact that we're having him refinish the dining room floor in our house. Greg is the opposite of a corporate-type floor finisher - very engaging and great to work with."

Floor Sanding questions, answered by experts

Costs vary, but you can expect to spend between $1,000 and $4,000 to prepare land for a mobile home or before you build a house. You’ll need to clear enough land for the foundation, which may require leveling or grading, as well as removing trees, stumps, and plants. Don’t forget to plan for permits and fees and the installation of a gas line, water line, and sewer main.

A land survey defines and records the physical aspects of a property, including its boundaries, dimensions, easements, features, and sometimes topographical information. In contrast, a land appraisal determines the property's monetary value. While an appraiser will often consult a land survey to understand the property's physical specifications, the survey itself does not determine the land's value.

Land surveys don’t technically expire. They do serve as a point of reference and a snapshot of your property, though, so as soon as you make changes to your property (and even if your neighbor makes certain changes to theirs), your existing land survey becomes inaccurate, and a new one must be done. Even if you don’t make any changes to your property, many states only guarantee the accuracy of a land survey for five to ten years.

There are a couple of ways you can determine the depth of your well. One method is to use a device called a well sounder. This tool has a long measuring tape containing a sensor to alert you once the end reaches the water.

Or you can DIY it by using a long tape measure with a half-filled bottle of water attached to it. Lower the tape measure into your well. Once you feel tension on the tape, you’ll know the bottle has reached your static water level. This will give you an approximate idea of your well’s depth.

Measure from zero on a measuring tape by placing the metal hook right up against the edge of what you need to measure. You can also latch the hook onto an open edge—of, say, a table—to accurately measure as well. If you begin at the 1-inch mark, you'll need to subtract an inch from your total.
