"This home yard project went extremely well. I was very specific about what I wanted for a final result (dog hardy grass blend, easy to use irrigation system, remove old damaged soil and grass and replace / amend with healthy soil) and am very engaged in any contractor-run project. Norberto was able to provide reasonable options, discuss pros/cons, and what the maintenance requirements would be long term. Once started, the project moved along - he was an excellent project manager. I would check progress and he was very responsive to any of my questions or concerns. Any course corrections were made immediately. He is also providing follow-up to ensure the lawn comes in as planned and the irrigation system is functioning as designed. They were very carefully to keep the work area clean and ensured the gates remained closed so my dogs were not able to escape or get into the new lawn area. Between a reasonable price, excellent experience and consultation, excellent installation, and follow-up, I highly recommend Mount Olive for lawn replacement and irrigation system installation."

We discussed drip vs in ground irrigation, agreed on a fair price then the work was scheduled and completed quickly. When done, RT’s crew did a thorough clean up and Rafael and Sara came back to do a walk through. I am 100% satisfied and look forward to working them on other projects. "We were very impressed with Jorge. Our sprinkler system has been running only 4 out of 9 circuits for years and we have had difficulty finding someone who appeared to know what they are doing. It is very difficult for someone to bid the job when they don’t really know what the problem is. We got two other bids, but they were just offhand bids like, $250 a sprinkler relay. Jorge turned on the sprinklers (which the other guys did not do) and in about 20 minutes of going through the circuits he had the whole system diagnosed. He could not, of course, give us a firm price, but we trusted his expertise. The work is not cheap, but his team works fast and knows what they are doing. I think it took about 2 days and he had installed a new controller and got all the circuits working, including one that we thought was buried under the sidewalk, and one that we had never hooked up. We had him come back later to add an additional circuit and put in landscape lighting. He was very patient with me about showing me how to program the controller, since the written instructions that came with it were terrible. He is coming back to winterize the system for us. He is the first person we will call for any of our landscaping equipment maintenance."

"Kyle did an excellent job.  He came out very quickly to give me an estimate, which was extremely competitive.  I liked the way he was very detailed about where he gets his sod and the type of topsoil he was going to use and why. My old lawn was very weedy and mossy; just a mess.  He removed all of that, along with a bit of concrete curbing.  He added fresh topsoil, graded the lawn, put down new sod, and installed new curbing in a couple of areas.  It looks absolutely beautiful.  Kyle also gave me information on how to take care of the fresh sod."

"I had used Mark//Creative Contours last year and he had built a pathway on the side of my house.  My previous review is on here, and at that time I had rated him a C.   Mark had contacted me again this year with a special on sealing my path.  I was shocked that he would even contact me to offer me his services, as I was very frustrated after the last project.  I openly expressed these concerns with Mark, and in return he provided me some explanation of his circumstances at that time.  It sounded reasonable enough to me, so I hired him again; but only with the promise this time would be different. 
I think he still needs a better system with making/canceling appointments and better communication and organizational skills.  But overall, his work is very good and it was completed in a reasonable amount of time.  Make your expectations clear, allow some room for delay; and you can expect a great product in the end.  There is no question that he is very good at what he does!
