"Yelpers are finicky. Pacific Heating and Cooling did a great job for my wife and I. We had them do a duct cleaning several months ago and they were top shelf. Booties on while in the house and great care taken to take care of our stuff. As a result we decided to have a consult on adding AC. Greg Jackson came out and went over current system, crawled under the house to inspect ducting and somehow came back in the house clean and wearing booties to go over our options. After a thorough review of what we had, asking about our goals and what we were most concerned with he developed three proposals. No pressure, no "today only" pricing, just a conversation. We chose to replace our okay furnace with an upgraded 96% efficiency furnace and added AC to our 1500 sq foot home. The price was about what I was expecting and they were able to begin installation the following week. Josh, Zach, Chance and Sean were all friendly, efficient, caring and concerned about doing a great job. They cleaned up constantly, kept us informed when having to turn off power let us know. "Service was excellent/price competitive. Furnace went out during week of snow storm. Bob & Allen made it to my house and were able to install my furnace. Even though it was very cold and miserable (with them getting stuck in the snow and having to dig out just to make it in and out of my driveway) they remained professional and upbeat. "We'd used them four years ago to replace our windows. They were about 40% the cost of Renewal By Andersen for the same Andersen windows, were professional and courteous throughout the process, and we haven't had a single problem since. So when we wanted to put in a heat pump system for efficient heating and cooling they were high on our list. We got four bids, and once again they were the least expensive, in this case by a 30% margin. They explained our options well, came up with some creative solutions (we're an old house with old vent-work which they bypassed for the ductless pumps but used for a top quality air filter), and did the job quickly and efficiently. They've checked back a couple of times since to make sure everything is ok, which it is, and it's been really nice to heat our bedroom on some cold nights and cool my western facing home office on some sunny afternoons). When the permit inspector asked before they came over who our installer is and I told them, they said "They do really good work." Definitely recommend them to others and in fact already have."

"They did a great job. I'm very happy with it. It came to a little bit more because they had to add some additional parts and change out the copper piping and that sort of a thing. It came to $1100 all total. They did a fine job, a really good job. The Angie's List special was for a Rheem water heater and they actually put in AO Smith water heater. So I talked to them about that. I said, "Well, I have a Rheem furnace, I would like to have a Rheem water heater." They had already put it in, I hadn't realized it. So I said, "You're supposed to put the Rheem in," and then the installer contacted the owner and they were able to give me a 10% discount or something like that. So they did give me an offset of about $110 or something like that. So that was good, they made it up for it. So I was satisfied with that arrangement. I assume that they're both of equal quality, but I don't know for sure. I settled for the reduction in the price."
