Lakeside Heating & Air Conditioning

We were interviewing several companies to replace our 1950's era heating system and had gotten quotes from several companies when our heating system shut down and refused to light. Phoenix was next on our list and Nick McDanel responded to our plight and was very accommodating in meeting with us immediately that evening. His quote came in below the others we had gotten for the same level of high-efficiency system we wanted and he was able to begin installation in three days. He installed the heater and replaced our 12 year old water heater at the same time at a discounted price. The entire installation was very professional and we feel that he saw to it that all details were dealt with to meet our every concern. We're very happy with the result and appreciative of their attention to detail.

They were great -- very punctual and professional. Nick, the technician, didn't hesitate to tell us in depth what he was thinking and why. He troubleshot the problem successfully, laid out our options and didn't try to up-sell us very h****** a new expensive furnace. I was very pleased with everything involved with this transaction.

They were great. The price was reasonable, as I received many estimates. The work included a 10 year labor and parts warranty. They were prompt and hauled away the old furnace. I received not only a quality furnace but quality service.

It was a very positive experience.  He was very efficient.  He was polite and seemed organized.  He did the work that we wanted very quickly.  He cleaned up after himself.

Our initial call was answered the same day and soon after we had the visit and estimate.  They arrived and got right to work today.  They worked steadily and explained everything to us.  They cleaned up the area and in the walk through at the end, found that the builder 38 years ago failed to connect one of the cold air returns.  We are scheduling with Phoenix to come out at a later date to correct the  38 year old error. We are delighted.  Besides being extremely professional both men were also pleasant and personable.  We have absolutely no reservations in recommending Phoenix.

Overall, 100% Satisfaction.  Phoenix did an excellent job from start to finish.  Nick provided a quote in advance and worked with me to modify the quote as requested.  Nick coordinating permitting with the municipality and installed the system as designed with no problems at all.  I would recommend Phoenix for any new HVAC system install or remodel. Also, I obtained 4 quotes from local HVAC companies including Phoenix and they were as much as $3,000 dollars less than the highest competitive apples to apples bid.

Crew was here for the day. Worked hard and did a nice job with the install. We had four companies out to give us estimates. Nick from Phoenix was great, very helpful and did a full analysis of our existing system.

It went great. They were polite and got straight to work and did exactly what they said they would do.

Tom was prompt and polite providing a competitive estimate. The work was scheduled to be performed shortly after the contract was signed. The technician did a professional job in the installation and cleaned up after they were completed.

The installation was completed in a single day. The workers were courteous and conscience. They did make a bit  of a mess of my attic insulation where the drain lines were routed, but they missed putting it back after putting in a pretty long day and that was a relatively easy for me to fix. The workers took the time to give a basic operating instructions for the thermostat.

After the installation there have been problems with the furnace. Phoenix has been very active in followup service calls in trying to get to the root of the problem, including bringing in manufacturer service personnel. The problem with the furnace is not related to installation by Phoenix. It seems clear there is some kind of defect in the furnace itself that has been difficult to locate and resolve. I appreciate the persistence of Nick in getting this resolved. There have been at least 10 visits by Phoenix personnel, mostly Nick, in working on this problem.

Nick and the crew are a hard working group of guys. I initially met Nick when he bid the furnace job at my house while we were remodeling it and not only did I like Nick as a individual I also liked his bid. Not only did Nick's bid come in thousands less than his competitor's, he went above and beyond the scope of work needed to do the job and do it right. During this time my boss was talking about doing some better heating in our showroom and in our shop, once again Nick's bid was less than his competitor's and he and the crew, again, did a wonderful job. A few weeks later my fiance's dad called me with problems on his decade old furnace, of course the only person that instantly came to mind was Nick, I called him and he had someone out there immediately. After finding numerous problems with the furnace and the poor condition it was in the decision was made to install a new furnace. Nick promptly got me a bid over the weekend which I then forwarded on to my soon to be father-in-law, he decided on the package that he wanted to go with on Monday and Nick was there Tuesday installing the new furnace, even with his extremely busy schedule. The following evening my FIL called me to tell me how happy he was with the work and he as well would NOT recommend anyone else for heating. There is no doubt in my mind that Nick and his guys will be my number one choice for heating and air conditioning, they go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure their customers are happy and comfortable!

They were very professional and efficient.  They did a good job and were reasonably priced.  They were dedicated to their job and also rectified some things which were ruined by the previous electrician.  I like their services a lot and will use the same in future.

Due to a contractor repair defect we discovered, by chance, a rodent infestation which required a major restoration and correction action that included a complete crawl space replacement of our duct work. Further, due to the contaminants we were breathing (unbeknownst to us) it was recommended that we install a whole house air cleaner on the furnace. Our pest control company recommended Phoenix Heating and Air Conditioning. We choose Phoenix and are completely satisfied with their service. Not only were they thorough with their inspection, the estimate was firm and work performed was exactly as promised. Phoenix went above and beyond, even sending us a plant when our pet passed away during this time.
