"Jerrod the owner of Archstone was emphatic to point out that he is one of the best if not the best and a very conscientious and honest man. He said the mortar on exterior house wall is very hard and can't be ground out. Per his expert advise the best things is pressure wash and scrape out loose and damaged mortar and use sponging technique to fill in cavities with type S mortar. I understood and agreed asking for care with pressure washer. Quote was $2922 before tax. He said the wall wouldn't look much better than it does now but he would get all the places having egregious deterioration and then seal. Two days work. Moving forward his team (him and a 18 year old nephew) came and went in less than 4 hours. Sealant remained to be done and I could see that cost was itemized at $400. I personally could do it in 1/2 hour so I asked him to scratch it from the price. He was very amenable to that. The issue arose when I was sealing I found and sent him photos of spots with severe erosion that were missed and should take about 1 hour to fix. Some on wall, one in bottom corner of house, one big seam in windowsill. I sent email and photos asking for him to return. He didn't reply. 1 week later I reached him by phone and he said he didn't get the email/or hadn't read it yet but he wasn't going to come back for 'pinholes' which I could do myself. First of all I could do everything myself but that's time that I paid him for. He is too busy to come. Photos are from the south wall as discussed."

"I was on the market for a security system and this one seemed easy enough to install.......went through the process and some of the window sensors were not working. I called Customer Support who was very friendly and we went through the entire process again...this time other window sensors did not work. This went on for a week or so...then the door senors stopped working....than the motion sensor stopped working...at no time in over a month did I have a fully operational security system. As I was about to return the system I was told they have "new" sensors and they just realized they received a bad batch and are working with another company.....Gave it a try....and same issue returned....some sensors worked....some didn't. I finally returned the system and stopped getting emails.....only to find that they were still billing my credit card even after I returned the equipment. Very nice people and very understanding.....unfortunately their product is not up to par. While we do have a large home, it's an open concept and the sensors that weren't working were no more than 15ft away from the base. The previous owners of my house had a wireless system with no issues at all.....I'm going to be using that company going forward."

"We used Highline construction for a remodel of the main floor of our home. It was a complete remodel of 1450 square feet that included a full new kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, removal of a wood burning fireplace and installation of a gas fireplace in a different location, and generally reconfiguring the whole layout of the space. Trevor and his team worked hard to get an accurate plan for the whole project at the start, and once the project started they were able to to stick very close to that plan. We were lucky to not encounter any major issues when they tore into the walls and we finished almost exactly on time and on budget. We found them to be easy to work with throughout the project, when we knew exactly what we wanted they found a way to make it happen and when we weren't so sure how we wanted to handle a particular detail they helped come up with a solution that worked for us. They were easy to communicate with throughout the project and very responsive to any concerns we had along the way. We lived downstairs during the renovation, and every worker was respectful of us living downstairs during the process. Our finished home is beautiful and just what we wanted. We had a great experience using Highline Construction and highly recommend them for your project."
