Jeremy and crew are wonderful to work with - our entire family loved having them around. Our highest exterior wall is near 30’ from the ground, but Seattle Paint and Design’s experience and quality were more than up to the challenge. Beautiful masking work on all protected surfaces kept any spray blow back out. Our house is painted with the finest quality paint, no bubbles, cracks, or peeling after 1 year. Their thoroughness with second coats where needed and touch ups provided us with a perfect finish, and our house still looks amazing!

I wish I could rate higher than 5's. Jeremy and Mary Ann are extremely talented and very skilled at what they do. My kitchen topped my expectations. And Mary Ann was spot on with her suggestions where I was hesitate for some change. LOVE EVERYTHING. Not one thing is a favorite..it all is. Jeremy redid our ceiling put up new cabinets, bar, granite tops. Replaced doors and moldings. Painted and made us feel like the house was new again. We have had so many bad experiences with others in our home we have put off doing this. I would trust Jeremy to do anything in my home. Honest, perfectionist and gets the job done. Mary Ann is so sweet. She listens and gets on things ASAP when you have questions. Love my remodels and will have them back when we choose to change things in other areas of our home. Thanks again Mary Ann and Jeremy. We were blessed the day you showed up!

I suffered sever water damage to my upstairs master bath and downstairs ceiling. They were very information during their appraisal and estimating process and completed the work quickly and with the utmost quality. Outstanding craftsmanship and work quality. I would strongly recommend them to anyone needing any remodeling or restoration work on their home.

I hired Seattle Paint & Design to help with a whole-house remodel which included two bathrooms, a kitchen, and floor plan changes. What incredible results. After design consultations with Mary Ann to define the scope of the project it was nothing but fast, excellent work at all stages. The lead contractor, Jeremy, is a very knowledgeable, honest, quality-oriented craftsman and an absolute pleasure to work with. I liked the frequent billing to keep me on top of things with no surprises, and the flexibility of contributing to the project myself. I am so glad that I hired Seattle Paint & Design for my remodel & would do so again without hesitation.

Maryann is the designer and Jeremy and their staff do all the work. I like that this is a small family run business - no subs. The bathroom turned out beautifully and the price was very fair. I would definitely hire them again and refer them to all my friends. They are honest, hardworking, good people.

I cannot say how long the exterior paint will last. However, the stain on the deck failed in February (6). The preparation work for the deck was minimum. The one coat spray paint did not hold at all. I sent the attached pictures in March and asked the company to redo the surface of the deck, and they flatly rejected it and ignored me and did not return the portion of the price I paid for the deck. Fast forward to August, I would redo the deck myself. The bottom line: do not hire them for deck work unless they stand behind and make whole of their lapse in quality.

Great marriage (literally) of both MaryAnn's skills in design and Jeremy's execution. MaryAnn was very attentive in the planning portion, visiting several times to give me ideas on how to renovate both bathrooms, and to guide me in options for my design choices for vanities, tubs, showers, etc. pointing out where I needed to spend more on quality and where I could save in other areas. MaryAnn was very respectful of my decision to spend some of my own time to do research and purchasing my own items. SPD was very flexible, since I delayed my project several times, they began work on June 2018 on the master bath and finished within reasonable time given the setbacks and additional scope I added along the way (requesting to close off an exterior window to extend the footprint of my bathroom to use a "hallway" area - hard to explain). After that was completed, they began working on my lower bathroom which is, at the time I'm writing this, at the midpoint of completion. All is looking good besides a few hiccups that were not not related to SPD. Additional points: RESPONSIVENESS: very good COST: Estimate was a fair range. Ended up going overbudget due to materials and additions to the original plan and "surprise" odd plumbing behind my walls that needed attention. INVOICING: I appreciate the weekly invoicing that is very transparent. QUALITY: I would score 97% perfect. If I'm being nitpicky, there were alignment issues with the shower fixtures but nothing that couldn't be adjusted later.

As usual, excellent for beginning to end! Jeremy came the first day to make sure he understood any concerns I might have and that Joshua was aware of those. My unusual needs were taken into account when scheduling the work. The work was done to the excellence that is the reason I always hire Jeremy and refer to his company to anyone I know. He trains his employees to his own excellent standards, and in the many years I have used him, he has always exceeded the very high standards I have come to expect because he is focused on the customer and attentive to detail

They are prompt in responding to emails and asked me to select colors in advance. They did a thorough job of removing the previously chipped paint and did not rush through the actual paint or stain process. Easy to work with.

We are so happy with Seattle Paint and Design. They remodeled our kitchen and bathroom last year and did such a great job that we hired them to complete a music room/workshop this year. They created a wonderful space for us. Mary Ann and Jeremy met with us and we discussed what we were going to do before the project began. Mary Ann helped us with the design. Both Mary Ann and Jeremy had some ideas that we would have never thought of. Jeremy does great work and is a perfectionist. This may cause him to take a little more time than some but I would rather have it done well. Jeremy created a custom counter for our room and it is beautiful! We had a few questions after the project was done. Jeremy came back and finished the job to our complete satisfaction. This is a contractor that will call back and come back! We would not hesitate to hire Mary Ann and Jeremy again.

Mary Ann was warm and made us feel like we were the only customer in the world. She really knows her way around bathroom design. Jeremy’s work is meticulous. His attention to detail was incredible and in the end left us with a master bathroom of our dreams. We had a baby in the middle of our remodel and they were so accommodating. I highly recommend this pair!

Jeremy and crew did a fantastic job painting the multi-story exterior of our rather challenging, large house. Thorough prep work. Terrific application of paint. Very neat and free of mistakes. After finding them on Angie's List, I would definitely hire these guys again. (In fact, I already did!)

Jeremy and Mary Ann promised me that the work they would deliver on my brand-new kitchen would be fast and of high quality. They exceeded my expectations for both. In mid-September I called Mary Ann with a tight timeline -- I wanted all work done with a usable new kitchen by Thanksgiving. After an initial walk-through and some material selection, Jeremy was ready to go to work on demo at the beginning of October and, as promised, had a fully-functional new kitchen ready by Thanksgiving in mid-November, complete with new cabinets, floors, backsplash, and appliances. In terms of design, Mary Ann was very responsive and helpful in getting cabinets, tile, and counter tops selected. I knew what I wanted and preferred to drive the selection of materials myself, but Mary Ann was great to bounce ideas off of and offer a second set of eyes to make sure the entire design was cohesive. Mary Ann and Jeremy only work with high-quality suppliers for items like cabinets, tile, and plumbing, which made me feel confident that the final product would also be high quality. In terms of build-out, Jeremy worked effectively despite some tricky logistics. I am on the first floor of a condo building that has strict HOA rules about remodeling work and security. Jeremy put extra care to ensure that he worked within the bounds of the HOA rules while also having a good regard for the cleanliness and security of my condo (not something you can say for most contractors). In terms of quality -- Jeremy does stunning work. Whether it was re-framing my ceiling soffit or installing the new cooktop, he didn't miss a detail. I'm a very detail-oriented person and notice things like the cooktop not being sealed or the wall not being exactly squared off, and I was impressed by the craftsmanship with which Jeremy worked. The final product is a kitchen that's as functional and reliable as it is beautiful. If I had one critique, it would be that after the majority of the work was done for Thanksgiving, things slowed down a lot. It took until the end of January to have my keys back in hand and everything settled, but I can't blame Jeremy or Mary Ann for that -- they were relying on a contractor to do the electrical work, and the electrician wasn't very cooperative. Jeremy made an extra effort to have the kitchen be usable and appear complete from Thanksgiving onward, despite lacking a few finishing touches. Seattle Paint & Design also isn't the cheapest option out there, but they bill honestly and fairly. Mary Ann and Jeremy provided a good estimate before the project began, and Jeremy bills per hour of work then shares his time table with you on the bill. Jeremy also sends the bills for materials and contracted work directly to you so that you know he's not tacking on extra fees. I personally am glad to pay a bit more to have the quality and responsiveness you get with Seattle Paint & Design versus what I'm used to with most contractors out there. All-in-all, I had a wonderful experience working with Seattle Paint and Design and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to do a kitchen remodel. I look forward to the opportunity to work with them again myself sometime down the road.

It went well, they sanded, stained and put polyurethane on our aging cabinets. Minor issue with dust control, but overall very pleased with what they did.

We wound up having some issues up front. Their quite wasn't actually accurate. It was contingent on a bunch of repair that they didn't tell us about until the day of. So we had to get another contractor in to do a bunch of work. One of the dudes broke a window as he was painting and it took them two week to do anything about it despite constant reminders on our part.
Response from Seattle Paint & Design
"My quote was very accurate to paint the building. They owners needed to hire a carpentry crew to replace many rotten trim boards. This 4 story + building also required scaffolding at owners expense due to difficult terrain. Damage to 1 window occurred and replacement glass was ordered immediately, 2 weeks later the glass arrived & was installed."

Met with co-owner/designer Mary Ann who provided valuable guidance in what needed to be done for décor, paint colors, trim, flooring, counters, backsplash and countertops. Based on her recommendations, we had kitchen and powder room cabinets painted, trim and baseboards replaced throughout house, full interior paint of walls, ceilings, mantels, millwork base, case, doors, jambs and full window wraps. Kitchen and two bathroom countertops replaced with quartz, tile backsplash in kitchen, quartz backsplash in bathrooms, new sinks and new flooring in bathrooms. Owner Jeremy did all carpentry and coordinated all aspects of the project. Trim and major painting took a little over 3 weeks. Kitchen and bathrooms finished the following week. Everything stayed on schedule throughout. Jeremy adjusted the schedule so that we were able to remain in the house (no hotel room expenses), and able to use the kitchen during all but 3 days. The crews and subcontractors were competent, hardworking, accommodating and pleasant to be around. Everything was cleaned up daily. All carpentry (replacement of trim and baseboards) was charged on a time and materials basis rather than the customary lump sum bid. This made it less costly. We were able to save money by doing some of the prep ourselves; remove trim, patch walls, etc. We now have a beautifully updated home (for a reasonable price) and a reliable, competent general contractor and design team for our next project.

Not good, Sometime after Seattle Paint and Design painted my townhouse unit, and after several rains I found that the painters had painted over rotten wood in my back porch and steps . This became apparent when I stepped on the bottom step and it collapsed because of the rotten wood at the base. I had to remove the remaining rotten wood at the base, fabricate and replace the bottom step and repaint my reconstruction. I also had problems with this contractor when they returned to paint and remodel my neighbors unit. They came onto my property and used my equipment and left it in a mess, parked in my driveway and did not use proper ventilation for their painting which forced me out of my unit for two days
Response from Seattle Paint & Design
"I offered to replace deck boards. Owner declined to have that done. We did a remodel to the next door unit, [Member Name Removed]was not to thrilled we were there. I tried to keep things neat and clean during the process. Sorry for the inconvenience!"
