"Overall, my experience was very good. The person who helped me with my quote was responsive and personable. We did have some communication issues regarding some of the items we wanted moved. We crews that helped us with the physical move worked very hard and provided solutions when issues came up. The single recommendation I could provide to anyone is be 100% sure everything you want to move is on the digital inventory at least 5 days before moving day. The day of the move, I found things were missing on the digital inventory even though we talked about it."

"Cory and Colton arrived on the time schedule, did a survey on the apartment and quickly started moving the furniture. They were very professional and did the best they could to finish as early as possible."

"From my first contact with Shawn, everything was professional and courteous, I was given a detailed estimate and a move date. We had a glitch on the moving date at the last minute and Shawn was accommodating and understanding. On move in day, the crew showed up on time and ready to work. Everything went smoothly! They were done in half the time estimated. I would recommend You Got It Movers without hesitation."

"Extremely courteous, Amazing service, and a superb experience for us! They moved our furniture from a 3rd floor condo, to a 3rd floor condo in the rain! They never stopped moving. Great attention to detail, covered doors, and expressed any concerns or issues with navigating through tight corners with large items. They had great time management and clearly know what they’re doing. We are 100% using them for our next move, and recommending them to anyone and everyone we know! Thanks so much guys!!"

Generally, you should avoid using your car as a storage space if you’re using a shipping company.Your items could get lost or damaged during transport, and most shipping companies won’t cover the cost of damage. Contact the shipping company and ask about their policy ahead of time. Some companies may not allow you to leave anything but necessary paperwork in the car.

To pack mugs safely for a move, start by lining the bottom of your moving box with padded material like bubble wrap. Wrap each mug individually; for a snug fit, you can tuck the ends of the bubble wrap sheet inside the mug. Place the wrapped mugs in the box, using a box with slots for extra separation if available. The key to preventing breakage is to pack the box tightly enough that the mugs cannot shift during transit. Fill any empty gaps with additional packing material. However, be careful not to pack more than 10 mugs in one box, as it can become too heavy to carry safely. Finally, be sure to label the box as “fragile” to alert movers to handle it with care.

Dismantling a bed frame makes moving it from one location to another easier. However, you might not need to completely disassemble it—especially if you’re moving it from one room of your home to another.

Yes, you can use a dolly to move a treadmill, though you won't always need one. If your treadmill has wheels and you’re moving it to a different location on the same floor, you can likely skip the dolly. But if you’re moving it up a flight of stairs or to a new home, a dolly can help you move it more easily.

Your furnace rests at the center of one of the most complicated infrastructures in your home. Air intakes, ducts, water, electricity, and sometimes gas connect up to the system. Most of these lines were run to this point specifically to service the furnace, so they’ll need to be closed up and new ones established.  A furnace is almost always connected to the air conditioner, so you’ll probably be moving those components as well.

Moving a furnace a few feet is probably no big deal. Moving it into a different part of the house is a different story.
