Here’s a few details about our project: replace existing hardwood floors and carpet throughout the house, replace all baseboards, tile bathroom floor, replace bannister, total refresh mantel and hearth, build storage and seating around fireplace, close off a wall, paint entire house, replace mirrored closet doors, replace all hardware. All of this work was done within 30 days! On time - on budget! Last but not least - the outcome is stellar! Our house looks beautiful and is a dream come true!

Todd Ritchey Construction made our dream addition a reality. He was patient while we obtained financing, completing the project within budget and on time. He was responsive to our requests and ideas and provided guidance when needed. There were no hidden costs, his estimate was straight forward, and the project finished in line with his bid, plus nominal changes (at our request). We would not hesitate to hire Todd and his crew again.

Todd stuck to the original budget for all pre-scoped items. There was a delay in the project due to cabinets being damaged during delivery that had a cascading impact on all other work. The cabinet maker took more time than we would have liked for redelivery of damaged/incorrect stuff. Todd's crew was excellent all through, professional, careful, paid attention to detail and educated us as the project was being completed. Would definitely hire Todd again.

Todd and his workers were great.  He looked at our kitchen, laundry room and half bath and drew up two designs gave me two options for remodeling.  He worked in my budget and gave me options of how to keep prices lower and did not pressure me to overspend (I painted myself and his workers, were very gracious about working with me in order to save some money).  He managed to get everything I hoped for in budget and did not go a penny over.
He had somethings contracted out (our floors were a floor he hadn't installed before and he wanted it done by someone who had).  Todd's employees found some errors on this and he was quick to have them back out to fix the job and I found he was very quick to realize if there was a problem and make sure it was corrected.  
I also had an instance where there was a miscommunication on the flooring where the wrong floor came in (much of it being my fault), Todd was very firm on me not settling and making sure I got what I wanted.  He was patient with me as I made the decision and made sure I was doing what was going to make me happy even if it pushed the schedule back.  
The workers, Brad and Evan who came to our house were so polite and conscientious.  They were timely and patient with both me and my children.  
Todd worked with a very small space and made it look so much bigger and so much better.  People are amazed at what has been done and how good it looks and our family is thrilled!

Todd Ritchey is a master at juggling projects.  We appreciated his willingness to work us in based on his schedule building new homes, other decks, etc.  Todd made my husband and I (and the dog) feel very comfortable about hiring his company for this work.   His crew was great about working with us on parking, keeping us posted when they came and went, and making sure we were happy with the work they were doing.

The old deck was removed and the area cleaned up. Removing the 30+ year old deck yielded some interesting things and issues but Todd and his crew dealt with them quickly and professionally, keeping us posted and making changes as needed. The crew came in and framed the foundation in a few days.  They brought in additional crew for a day when they started decking and railings.  Railing corners are precision and smooth, the little gate at one end is perfect, ramps and stairs too. It's beautiful and very functional.

Each day we saw progress and our new deck taking shape.  When the deck itself was finished, they placed custom cut metal fencing around the entire foundation to keep our dog from getting underneath. 

The yard was cleaned, scraps, etc, removed, and everything back to normal before they made their exit.  We have a beautiful new deck.

We would absolutely hire this company again.

Todd was very responsive in coming to give a quote. then getting the permit even though the county was slow.
his workers were very good. he responded to all our job changes as the project went along and was willing to do anything we asked and the price was reasonable.

If you don't hire Todd and his crew - Evan and Eric - you may have missed an opportunity to spend your money in the right place.
I always had a direct line to Todd, who set expectations well throughout every phase of the project. The team was super professional and most importantly courteous and kind.  In the bid process Todd helped us envision what was actually possible within our budget and provided examples of previous work. He also took the time to look under the house to the crawl space to see what plumbing and core structural issues with the home may impede the overall project. Turns out that was a critical structural issue that they solved as well as getting that side of the house leveled out. There were slides in the timeline here and there, but Todd did a great job of explaining all the dynamics influencing schedule. When changes needed to be made, they were done as smoothly as possible. Every day - especially when there were potential safety issues with the work area - they left the house clean and let us know what to expect for the next day or two. There were a lot of great things, but probably three that I'll highlight were when we picked the granite slab, the garage doors issue, and the effort they put into finishing the job when we had an unexpected bereavement in the family.
For the granite pick, we were initially supposed to pick two slabs, but Todd gave us the option of picking one and cutting off 2" from the width of the island. So we picked one and saved a whole lot of money and put it toward a other issues like raising the left side of the house and seriously needed garage repair.
The house has two standard single garage doors. When we moved in, the wall between the doors had structurally become unsafe and the doors themselves were falling off the hinges. It represented a serious safety issue and I had gotten estimates of more than $10K to fix it alone. Todd wrapped this into the project at dramatically minimal cost and the results are perfect.
Finally the overall project was about 80% finished when we heard my grandmother passed. The very next day the crew came in and brought everything to 98% (2% super small cosmetic stuff) so that I could host out of town family. They didn't have to but they also helped us move everything back into the house from the garage and stayed late to boot.
There were a lot of other details I liked, so feel free to email/call Todd and get our contact information for a reference. When you hire Todd, you should expect a top notch experience. Each team member cares meticulously about their work and it came through every day we watched them work. We originally took three bids.

edit: I had previously mentioned that I thought Todd and his crew had moved my kitchen island slightly. I recently spoke with Todd and he said they put it back where it was removed from. I went back and double checked and he was correct, the kitchen island had always been where it is now. My apologies to Todd for my mistake, hopefully this didn't scare off any potential clients.

Mr. Ritchey did a fantastic job. He not only built the roofed deck exactly as I wanted it, but he also made some suggestions which vastly improved the design of the deck.

Todd and every one of his crew were very professional and responsive to my requests.  He squeezed me in to his busy schedule to be sure I'd be able to get the deck stained before winter set in.  After the deck was completed I expressed concern about one of the steps and Todd was out within a couple of days to fix the issue.  The deck is very sturdy and well built and is exactly as I requested.  I would absolutely recommend him to anyone as well as use him again myself.

Todd and his crew were responsive, reliable, cost-conscious, and professional, and left us with a beautiful new bathroom.  This was our first remodel experience and although we did a fair amount of research and preparation, Todd was appropriately responsive to our requests for general guidance at critical junctures.  His input and expertise helped us make decisions that resulted in the bathroom that we ultimately wanted, while keeping with the financial and timeline parameters that we had agreed upon.  When issues did arise, as they invariably do with any large project, Todd initiated direct communication with me to describe the situation and impact, and to seek my decision on how to proceed. The work, especially the tile, was detailed , meticulous, and customized for us.   He and his crew were respectful of the us as homeowners and did not waste our time, abuse our home, or disregard our awareness of the cost of a remodel.  Although we obtained estimates from several other contractors (some good experiences, and some not), we chose to work with Todd after receiving a positive recommendation from a friend, and after seeing the work that he had done at her house.  We are pleased with his work on our own home, as well as his approach to his business and craft, and we will employ him again for upcoming projects on our home.

Mr. Ritchey and his team of specialists did an outstanding job. We are so pleased with the results! The project took about a month and the communication throughout was excellent. I knew who was coming and they all came on time. They were nice about fitting things around our work schedules as much as possible. I would definitely work with Mr. Ritchey and his teams again, and highly recommend him to all who are considering a home project.

Todd is the most amazing contractor there is. I've used him several times and have been pleased every time. He did beautifully on the last job. He is easy to get hold of and easy to work with.
