Polar Bear replaced all our windows. There was excellent communication from start to finish. The installation went smoothly for us because they focused on one area of the house at a time. They covered all surfaces that would be impacted by dust or dirt. The workers arrived on time, were skilled in their trade, cleaned up before leaving every day and were polite. They answered our questions . If the need arises I will have them back for other jobs. Thank you very much!

Had an amazing experience with this team. From Devyn in sales to Trace and Darren getting our new windows in, every person we interacted with was extremely professional and kind. They did a phenomenal job on our windows and got, what I thought would've taken over a week, done in 3 days. If you're even curious about getting something done on the exterior of your home or business, I highly recommend giving them a call.

I had this company do a complete over haul to the exterior of my house, which included new siding and gutters. There was a miscommunication before the job even began with the delivery of materials down to what was agreed upon in the contract. Not to say the least the job was not completed in a timely manner. The work that was performed was less than professional and its been almost two months since the job has been completed and they have still yet come back to finish the repairs that was agreed upon. I would not recommend using the company to anyone in the pacific nw.

I am super impressed with the quality of work and professionalism from start to finish. Everything was explained in full detail, and all of our options were explained. They were able to match our new roof to our old roof perfectly- and even when the appraiser came to our house he specifically commented on the quality of workmanship on our roof and how impressed he was, and pointed out he different features that polar bear added to our roof that made it such an exceptional job. Oh, we also had them install skylights, and actually doubled our skylight order less than 24 hours before they were set to install, and this was no problem for them at all. Everyone we had contact with from the office to the workers were nothing short of professional and polite, and I certainly have recommended their services to everyone I know who is needing a new roof / skylights or windows.

They’re friendly, easy to work with, clean, courteous and have quality materials and decent craftsmanship. The crew in particular was fantastic! Doug was the cutting board crew chief, Elias was the craftsman installer and Kevin was the attention to detail willing to help assistant installer. Little things like putting a tarp for debris, dropping their work to help me out and repairing old crappy sheathing makes them a great team that represents their company well. Little annoyances like missing a 6” section of caulking or forgetting to pick up 2 nails in the yard can get some people angry, but honestly….out of a thousand nails they only miss 2! Let me see you do that! And the 6” area that wasn’t caulked? C’mon! Out of 2000+ lineal caulking feet they missed half foot? Again, the attention to detail from these guys was spot on! Doug! You and your crew can come work on my house anytime! We can even kick back and drink a Reed’s ginger brew again! Thanks guys, way to represent your company!

Polar Bear was an excellent company for replacing our roof & maintain higher standards than most re: craftsmanship & materials. They also got the job done quicker than others could because we had a leaky roof!

I just had Polar Bear do a bunch of work including: - replace the shingles - replace the decking - install bird blocking to improve ventillation - replace some siding that was in bad repair / rebuild a chase. I'm quite pleased with the level of attention to detail and the quality of what got replaced. Most of the other estimates I got were circumspect. Polar Bears was, perhaps, pessimistic about the amount of work that needed to be done but it left me feeling more confident about the replacement.

It was fine. They came out, did everything what they were suppose to, and I was happy with my door.

Our experience with Polar Bear NW was amazing! The cedar siding on our south side had begun to warp. I had tried some measures to replace boards but I knew in the long run it would be a never-ending battle. We decided to go with a composite siding and had heard good things about Hardie® Fiber Cement Siding. Initially I thought I could do it, but after looking over the task, I realized I had a better chance of screwing it up. This siding requires some experience and it's not a cheap solution, but I knew it was the one that would make it so I'd never have to deal with the issue again. A friend in the neighborhood recommended Polar Bear as he'd had a great experience working with them. I was right: it wasn't cheap, but my work, if I'd one it, wouldn't have the kind of guarantees and backing that Polar Bear would have. So we pulled the trigger. Working with the Polar Bear team (Mamuka's crew) was great! I would stroll out and check on the progress and was always warmly addressed and all my questions were answered. It took the crew (which is some cases was only one person!) about three days during 4th of July. The results were beyond what I expected. If I had the money, I would have them do the rest of my house; it looked that good. Sad thing it sit's on a side of the house most people won't notice... but I do. I'm a new homeowner who purchased a brand new roof & gutters from Polar Bear Energy Solutions this August. Even though roofs are rarely an attractive purchase, it was quite necessary for me due to damage from the hot Summers on the existing poorly ventilated roof. I was lucky to encounter Eric H towards the end of this Summer. He spent a few hours with me explaining the options and details available. I wasn't looking for the cheapest option available, but rather a quality solution from a trustworthy group. Polar Bear delivered exactly that & I've no more worries about water damage or rot as our weather worsens in the coming seasons. I'd like to make a special mention to the team of the roof installers -- led by Israel(?), along with the gutter specialists Noa & Alex. Both teams started & finished their work in 1 day. They did a quality job for installation & were careful not to leave anything behind. To conclude, I recommend Polar Bear for their honesty, integrity, and quality. They were transparent throughout the process & are a great choice for any homeowner that wants a reliable longterm solution.

Polar Bear Exterior Solutions is a well-oiled machine. We needed to have our roof replaced. I was able to schedule Eric K. to come in and do an estimate in the first week of August. He was quite thorough, spent a lot of time on the roof and in all the crawl spaces. Eric carefully noted that the previous owner of the house had 3 layers of roofing (wood shingle, and 2 layers of asphalt) that would need to be removed, and that all new plywood would need to be installed. Polar Bear came out bright and early on the day scheduled, and carefully removed the three layers of preexisting roofing and installed the 50 year Certainteed roof, Northgate Moire. It looks great. We are super pleased with the Polar team and definitely recommend their services, and will use them for more projects in the future.

The experience went really well. The sales process went smoothly. The scheduling met our expectations. The siding crew was very professional and skillful. Our neighbors commented on how clean and polite they were!

The work itself went great. The siding team and gutter team and installations were quick, professional, and friendly. 5 stars for them and their work. The communication from the project manager (who we didnt meet until the project started) was awful. We didn't know when the project would start despite calling them often. We had to constantly call to check the status of things (when the gutters would be there, when the painting was going to happen so we could pick colors, etc). The lead of the siding team actually doing the work was WAY more communicative and friendly than our project manager. After the project was over, it took WEEKS to get a final receipt, and even now, he still hasn't dropped off the touch-up kit that they promised to drop off at least three times now. For the amount of money we spent on the project I would expect a MUCH higher level of communication and professionalism from the manager of the project.

I literally had a trifecta for window installation. Aaron, Aaron and Brian were prompt 9a start, efficient- all my windows and sliding door were replaced in just 2 days, they answered all my questions and left my house spotless. This team of guys really enjoys what they do and they are fabulous at it! I am so IMPRESSED at how beautiful my windows look!

Aaron and Aaron did a great job installing the window and door and later replacing the hardware on them. The crew was punctual, respectful, and professional. They took the time to answer all my questions and addressed all my concerns, making sure I got exactly what I wanted. Although the wrong hardware was ordered and installed they did replace it with white. The only problem I had with this job was the communication from the office about how long the new hardware would take to get here. I had to call them to get information on what was going on. Otherwise, PolarBear did a great job and I would definitely hire them again.

The entire Polar Bear team was prompt and professional from the very start. The scope of the work and the bid, which became our contract, were fully explained in advance. The work went smoothly and was actually finished slightly ahead of what we had expected and for less than the original estimate. In particular, we would like to compliment the crews that worked on and in our home: Aaron's window crew (Aaron and Aaron), Doug's siding crew (Doug, Erick and Chris) and Noah's gutter and downspout crew (Noah and Alex) were all terrific at the work they do and did a wonderful job on our home. They kept us informed all throughout the project and did a great job of cleanup at the end of each day.

I can't express how amazing the window crew that was sent out to our house was. They were very fun to chat with not just about the house project but just everyday life and sports! Matt Lake, Brian Moran, Aaron McGuire and Aaron Woods provided such professionalism doing this large 3 day project on my split-level home. They showed up and were up front with the plan of which windows were first day, second day and the third day. Having to make sure we made them 100% access to all the windows got tricky but they were patient with us which made the process go smooth. I highly recommend this group of guys if you need any window/door work completed on your house!

Polar Bear and my window installation team Aaron and Aaron were GREAT!! My new windows and French doors went in easily and look great. They enlarged our sliding door and re framed everything without having to destroy the house to do it. They cleaned up everything making it look great. They even came back to adjust a window after I made a change on the exterior of the house so everything would look the same on the outside. I would recommend them for any one needing new windows. As for siding, Polar Bear Energy Solutions is a great company to work with. The siding installers for my project, Doug, Erick, and Chris, were awesome. They were extremely nice, friendly and hard working. They paid attention to every detail, and if I noticed something, they fixed it no questions asked. They also gave me options for different things and let me decide which way I would prefer it (for example, they showed me a spot of the roof that was not needed since it was under another roof. They said that if I changed it, it would make the flow of the siding look better since it was not needed. ). I highly recommend Polar Bear and Doug’s installation team. Keep up the great work guys!!

My entire experience with Polar Bear has been absolutely fantastic! From my initial conversation with Roger to plan the replacement and expansion, through the logistics and designs with Joe, and ending with the actual deck removal and construction with Jonathan, every step has been phenomenal. Replacing a deck is no small project, and the plan for our deck was to create the deck we really wanted to enjoy for the next 20 years and beyond – a goal that matches perfectly with the services Polar Bear provides. Reviewing the features we were looking for and the wonderful material and design options with Roger and Joe, we quickly settled on a replacement plan that expanded our deck using low-maintenance, durable Azek decking materials. Polar Bear made the planning and design process painless for us: they engaged professional services on our behalf to handle the formal designs and create plans, handled the permitting with the city, and communicated with us for small design changes and adjustments. The deck project was expertly coordinated to occur alongside our siding replacement, providing both projects with maximum access to the superstructure of the house. As the siding project progressed, the old deck was cleanly removed (old footings and all) and Jonathan and his deck crew started lining up the new footing locations and the levels at which the deck would align with doorways. Even in this very early construction phase, the attention to details was astounding. Jonathan and his crew spent a few days carefully planning the locations and alignment of the new deck footings, ensuring they were all perfectly aligned and level. Even more impressively, they very quickly identified and resolved a rather unique challenge of our deck project: we have three doors with access to the deck and each is at a slightly different level (due to the way the house settled over the years). Jonathan came up with a very good plan that aligned one of the doors perfectly with the deck while keeping the other two doors very nearly level (introducing a barely-noticeable step); he kept us aware of the challenges and solution, giving us lots of opportunities to ask questions and – possibly most importantly – ensuring that we were aware of the expected results (which were awesome!). Once the footings were in place, the support beams were attached quite promptly afterward, and aligned with computer-like precision – Jonathan and his crew spent a fair amount of time with alignment strings to ensure that all the beams and supports were in the same plane. The line of support beams is aligned so perfectly that it’s almost surreal. It’s not often that one can say the underside of their deck is as tour-worthy as the top side, but the effort put into the support structure of this deck makes it a must-see for our visitors. The installation of the deck materials zipped along with impressive efficiency and precision. I frequently observed the whole crew working in a very efficient pipeline, measuring, cutting, and placing boards at quite a quick pace. In no time at all, they were placing the final glass panels for the railing. Once again, the small details made the final results all the more impressive: Jonathan and the crew went to the trouble of ensuring the tempered glass stamps were all oriented in the same position of the railings, creating a very clean and uniform appearance. And at every step of the way, Jonathan and his crew were just as excited to be building this amazing deck as I was to watch it come to life. The final result is an absolutely awe-inspiring deck that exceeded even my expectations, which is quite impressive given the high (and achievable) expectations we already had throughout the process. Every small detail, corner, junction, brace, and joint was perfectly placed and constructed. I’m now the proud owner of a durable, low-maintenance deck that I’ll be able to enjoy for more than a few decades.
