"These guys are great! I have a few cabinet doors that needed to be painted to finish up a kitchen cabinet refacing project we started before we moved into our condo. We reached out to multiple people to get a quote for painting just a few cabinet doors. We were on a budget, and I didn't think we'd be able to get the work done until we could save up more, but these guys are so nice that they offered to work with us on our budget - it truly felt like a Christmas miracle (I may have teared up, it was so kind)! They did a great job painting the cabinets and turned them around in just a couple of days, even though I told them they could take their time. In the future, we hope to repaint all the walls in our home, and I will reach out to Color Cat Painting when the time comes!"

"We highly recommend Otis, owner of Hunter Painting. He prepped and repainted island and peninsula cabinets in our kitchen and arches and columns between the kitchen and living room. Everything turned out beautiful and matched the other existing cabinets perfectly. From start to finish all went smoothly. He even picked up cabinet doors to paint in his shop ahead of the onsite work to expedite the overall timeline. He worked very efficiently onsite and was very thorough and cautious in setting up protective tenting for the in-house spray painting. He also ensured our recently refinished floors were well protected. Otis was very knowledgeable about the various product options and was a pleasure to work with in all regards. His pricing was fair and he stuck to all of his commitments. Otis is the best painter we have ever used!"

"Our thirty apartment three story building was showing it's age—built in 1982. Certa-Pro and Donovan and his crew cid an amazing job which included much carpentry work to replace bad frame components and failing siding boards. We have used other companies over the years, but Certa-Pro of Renton produced the face-lift our building needed. Joel Dean, Olympic Condominiums"

"Mike is very thorough and flexible with scheduling. He suggests options and solutions. Mike is also very nice and is prompt and will notify if he is running late. Communication is key! We would hire Mike for other needs in the future!"

"I hate being condescended to. Listen to what I want and then give suggestions on how I might be able to work that out in my kitchen. Don't just tell me it can't be done. I felt like I was wasting my time. I asked about a particular type of closet (not realizing it was part of a bigger cabinet...how would I know) and she told me to follow her (using her finger to me like a child) and said I couldn't have it because it was as part of a bigger piece. She could have just said that. I said if I can't make my kitchen more "usable" (less wasted space), WHY to with custom cabinets. I could just reface. The woman behind me who was waiting to ask her a question said. Listen, if you can't get what you want, I don't blame you for not spending the money. It's easy to reface. So, I called another company and, low and behold, I'm getting partial refacing and partial custom cabinets. He came and we discussed HOW I could get my carousel cabinet (uh - he suggested I go from a double to a single sink - easy peasy) AND, he came in at half the price your website suggested I might pay. It is really nice to be listened to...especially when it's MY money I'm spending."

Closets questions, answered by experts

A standard walk-in closet has dimensions of 7 feet by 10 feet at a minimum and an average of 100 square feet. Remember that the dimensions of the closet aren’t necessarily the usable space. This means that a 100-square-foot walk-in closet with shelves on each wall and an island may only have a walkable area of 50 square feet or less. Make sure you consider the effect of additions when you plan the room—mockups are a great idea.

Costs range from $2,000 to $10,000, depending on size, materials, and design complexity.

Yes, books are typically heavier than clothes, unless you have a collection exclusively of paperbacks or comic books. That’s why packing lots of books warrants careful planning and consideration. Consider packing up your reading collection first to determine whether you need to downsize it before loading it into your moving truck.

Clean regularly, avoid overloading shelves, and check hardware for wear to ensure longevity.

Costs depend on material type, size, and additional features like lighting or sliding doors.
