"This review is long overdue in my praise of Washington Energy Services for their customer service, pricing and workmanship ! My first interaction was in 1999 when they installed windows throughout my house. They are still in excellent condition. I might note I called them over 20 years later to inquire on how I could repair a broken slider and they sent someone right out, charging a very nominal amount to repair it. In 2020, I needed to replace my hot water tank, and the extremely knowledgeable Christy presented several options, answering my many questions. I settled on one with a booster that seemed to best fit my needs. Finally, in December 2023, I purchased a new gas furnace from WES. I had a minor issue with a fan switch and they responded quickly to rectify the situation. Within the past two months, I seemed to be having an issue with my thermostat (something they had not installed), and the manager, Greg, came out twice with his crew to explore the problem. Today they installed a new thermostat FREE OF CHARGE! Their excellent response and customer service is beyond any company I have hired. And I particularly love that they are family owned and have been around for decades. Their employees seem to be there for the long haul, which speaks highly of the owner. I refer all my friends and family and I won't go anywhere else for services that they offer. Many thanks to the staff I have interacted with over the past 25 years!"

"Tyler from Taylor heating and AC was the best. It was a hot Saturday (mid 90 degrees) and he crawled up into a 115 degree F attic to help resolve our AC. Not only did he identify the problem, he also fixed the issue for us on the spot so we could have AC during this heatwave—all while working under immensely hot conditions. I’d give a 10 out of 5 stars if I could."

"After 20 years I needed to replace my furnace and decided it was a good time to add A/C to my house. I reached out to 3 vendors for quotes. I was put off by 2 of the 3 as they were focused on making a sale and throwing up red flags for additional cost. Jeff at Green City came to my home, made observations about a couple of things that needed repairing (new return vents) and was very straightforward about them. He also did not try to sell the top of the line equipment but rather units that fit the foot print of my home. Jeff and his team followed through each and every time. When a problem arose with the installation, the Green City crew returned on a Saturday to complete the work. Jeff and his team at Green City did what they said they would do, handled issues professionally and promptly, and were very easy to work with - highly responsive. I recommend them highly."

I’ve got a furnace that doesn’t work, dirty filter, no apparent work done until a technician was called. They replaced a gas valve. Furnace still doesn’t work. Owner of the company, Jason, says he refuses to fix the furnace."

They contacted me early last week to schedule service for my HVAC system, and I agreed to their preferred date—the following Monday. I received a confirmation email on Sunday and a reminder Monday morning for the upcoming afternoon appointment. I drove 1.5 hours to the service site, only to be met with confusion and poor communication. When I called at 12:30 to ask for a specific arrival time, I was told the technician would contact me 30 minutes before arriving—but they couldn’t give me a time estimate. I waited another 2.5 hours before receiving a call informing me that no technician would be coming at all. My only options were to reschedule or cancel. I asked to speak with a manager and was placed on long hold. Eventually, I was told the manager was “too busy” to speak with me and would call me later. That call never came. This experience was a complete waste of time and resources, and the lack of accountability was appalling. Hunt’s HVAC Services failed to honor their commitment, communicate effectively, or show basic courtesy. I strongly advise others to stay away from this business."

"I'd give them ZERO stars if I could. Their website says they service Jefferson County, Washington but they don't come to Jefferson County, Washington. I told them they should remove Jefferson County Washington from their website as this is false advertising. No telling what else they lie about."

"They didn't seem interested in repairing my furnace. All they wanted to do was sell me a new furnace. The demeanor of the technician, Nicholas, changed to argumentative and belligerent when I said I was not buying a new furnace. When I tried to complain to the manager, he became argumentative as well. He did return the diagnostic fee after I told him I was getting a 2nd opinion."
