"Marty Milner restored the shower in our master bathroom. A previous owner has applied a latex grout on top of the stone grout. , and it was starting to peel. Marty painstakingly stripped out the latex grout, cleaned and repaired the underlying stone grout, applied sealer and caulked the corners. He worked hard and completed the work in about 8 hours, divided between two days. This kind of work is not inexpensive (given the time involved), but we believe it to be a good investment."

"The pro who did the job was very nice and polite. He even called to say he was running late. The problem is that he was on his cell phone about 90% of the time he was here doing the job. It is impossible to give 100% of your attention/focus to anything when you are also on the phone. I called and emailed the owner. They returned my call, took my concerns seriously and came back to my home. Chris is wonderful , he had a great attitude and addressed my concerns 100%. I would recommend them. They take customer satisfaction seriously."

"Mark did a phenomenal job on a fence repair that was required at my property as I prep it for sale. From the time he first made communication to the time he finished the work, he was professional, transparent with pricing and delivered a high quality product that I'm sure the future owners of this property will enjoy. I would 100% recommend this individual to anyone looking for a fence install/repair and would absolutely use this company again."

"First time I right a review on a company. I must say I’m surprise how everything worked so well. Most important is price didn’t changed and stay around the estimate. We started with remodeling the living room, bedrooms both floors and basement and we loved their job so we added bathrooms and new kitchen. Felt comfortable and stressless during all the process. The manager on my project ( Igal ) was very professional with a lot of knowledge and advise us during the renovation. We are very satisfied with IG renovation and definitely recommend ( specially Igal ). Good luck"

Marble Restoration questions, answered by experts

Yes, onyx countertops can scratch easily—especially if they’re not adequately sealed. But with the proper maintenance (which includes re-sealing the countertops to protect them from damage), you can prevent your onyx countertops from scratching and repair any damage quickly to prevent it from worsening.

It is advisable to have stone countertops inspected every few years, especially if damage is noticed. Regular maintenance and inspection help catch and resolve issues early, extending the countertops' lifespan.

Yes, you can repair a stone countertop yourself for minor issues like small chips or scratches, and DIY repair kits are available for this purpose. However, for larger problems such as major cracks or significant stains, DIY repairs may not be effective. In these cases, professional services are recommended to ensure a seamless finish, prevent further damage, and use the proper materials and techniques for a full restoration.

Marble countertops are often considered better than limestone because of their superior durability and luxurious appearance. Marble is harder and less prone to scratching and denting, though it still requires maintenance and sealing to prevent stains and etching. Marble is typically more expensive, but its beautiful veining and range of colors offer a high-end look.

Baking soda can damage some countertops, but it makes an excellent mild abrasive for removing stains on other countertops. For example, never use baking soda on quartz or glass countertops, but you can use it on laminate and tile. Stay away from using it on quartz because it can scratch and damage the counter, and glass is prone to scratches. Since baking soda is a mild abrasive, you can only use it on certain surfaces.
