The company as a whole is very responsive from the free estimate to the completed job The quality of the work was awesome and installers were very pleasant, friendly and professional. Thomas, the lead installer was especially great to deal with. Very happy customer and highly reccomended. James

I absolutely love my backsplash that was installed this week by Patriot Flooring! Thomas and Phil did an amazing job and James and Tammy were great to work with. Thomas was not only exceptional at the tile installation, but also had great customer service and attention-to-detail. He made sure I was happy with the work each step of the way and was also so mannerful with a great attitude! I had thought of trying to handle this myself and wisely decided to let a professional handle it. I definitely made the right decision. James came to give me a quote. He showed up a little early after first asking if early was ok and me telling them it was. On the day scheduled for the work, John and Vito showed up right on time. Both were professional in their interactions with me and while performing the work. I was very pleased with the end result. I would have no issue with using Patriot for any future flooring needs or recommending them.

James came to my home to give me an estimate for my kitchen backsplash project, the time spent was very informative. He shared with me what materials would be needed for my project, confirmed where I could purchase them and answered my many questions. Tammy then scheduled my project within a two week period. During that time, she also answered my questions and assured me my backsplash, once completed, would look beautiful. John and Vito were the installers and arrived as scheduled. Actually, Tammy phoned and asked if I was available earlier than originally scheduled since the installers completed another project earlier than expected. John and Vito were very professional: they were respectful to me and my husband and of our home; they were very clean and courteous young men; they were knowledgeable about their craft and they thoroughly cleaned the work area when they completed the project. My husband and I are very pleased we hired Patriot Flooring to install our kitchen backsplash. Tammy was right, our kitchen backsplash is "beautiful!" Thank you James, Tammy, John and Vito!

The installers were in and out in 5 hours and they did a great job. The owner and his wife were very helpful and knowledgeable about the work that needed to be done. They were very friendly and professional. I would recommend this company for flooring.

Awesome company. The guys were very respectful of my home. Everyday they would put down tarps to cover flooring to and from the work area and clean up at the end of the day. The lead tech(John) would always keep me informed on what they hope to accomplish everyday. We were so satisfied with their work that we had a second bathroom done and scheduling for the third bath. The owner John is very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable of his craft. They do outstanding work thanks James, John and Thomas for a job well done.

I had a shower remodel done in 2017 that was not done correctly and had been leaking under the tile until it finally broke thru the ceiling below and made me aware of the leak. My previous contractor was not responding to calls/texts, so I started the search for a new contractor.  I found Patriot Flooring through a google search that led me to Angie's list. I read their bio and reviews and gave them a call. I spoke with owner James on the phone and he came out within the next few days for a free estimate. He was on time and nice, but he gave me a quote that was more than what I was expecting. I learned when I got a 2nd estimate that James estimate was more than fair and I felt a good vibe with James and Tammy (owners) from phone and text, so I scheduled the remodel.  They showed up on time for the work EVERYDAY! They worked EVERYDAY, no slacking, no coming in late or leaving early, these guys actually worked til they could work no more for the day... and this was driving all the way from Hampton to VB every day. They cleaned up after themselves, they were polite and their work is beautiful! In this covid day and age it seems harder and harder to find people who actually want to work, Patriot is one of those few and I will most definitely use them again and recommend them. I really felt like family with Tammy, they truly cared about my family and have such integrity in their work, they truly stand behind their job well done. Not to mention, their pricing and workmanship are top notch!  Loving my new shower / bath, they truly made it a low stress process, even when they had to replace my entire subfloor due to water damage! Not having to worry about them not showing up or surprise fees.. it was refreshing! Their work speaks for itself, but the people behind this company are what truly gets my vote. Thank you! =)

The tile floor in our master shower was literally falling apart. It was past time for us to act, so we scheduled one of those popular TV commercial companies to come out and take a look. The lady that visited was nice but the estimated she offered was not. All that money to replace just the small shower area with some ultra-thin plastic paneling glued to the wall? It was outrageous. There had to be a better option. So my wife and I looked on Angi for a local business and found Patriot Flooring. We received a call almost immediately after submitting our request. James and Tammy came out in almost no time. Right away we could tell these were not flashy commissioned based Salespeople but rather seasoned professionals with decades of experience and a Class A contractor license. James quickly provided all the information on how we could get our problem fixed. Not only would he remove the old tile from the shower area but also the bath and replace both with tile our choice. All this at a fraction of the cost we were quoted by the big-name brand company. In a couple of weeks, James and Vance were onsite to begin. Both are very courteous and respectful. The removal of the old tile was completed in about a day. James let us know some of the incorrect practices he was seeing done by the original installer like having no moisture barrier on the walls, putting nails through what is supposed to be the waterproof membrane around the bottom of the shower and so much more. We also had a horrible build-up in our shower drain due to debris from the original material. James was able to replace the blocked-up portion of the drain included as part of the project. Every evening my wife and I would look at the progress. It seemed a little slow at first but doing things right can take time. James was upfront before the work began about the timetable, so this was expected. Each step from putting in the pre-float, assembling the new membrane, overnight water testing to check for leaks, pouring the cement base of the new shower pan, applying the Red Gard, setting all the new tile, grouting, and reinstalling the fixtures (probably missing some steps), is not something you should expect to all be completed overnight. Day by day our new shower and bath took shape. Every day James would give us an update and answer any questions. Soon enough we had our new beautiful, tiled shower and bath. There was no question during this project that we had selected the right company for the job. James and his team take pride in the work they do, and it was apparent every step of the way. My wife and I couldn’t be happier. If you’re looking for quality work at a reasonable price, look no further. You can believe all the 5-star reviews and ours as well.

Patriot flooring were absolutely excellent in the flooring job they performed. My bathroom floor suffered from a slow leak from a poorly done job from a home warranty company months ago. James and Tammy were extremely pleasant and very professional during the job. I would highly recommend this small family owned business to tackle any home project you may need. Patriot Flooring did a great job installing the tile. We are really pleased with the tile and how they treated our home while doing the job. They arrived when they said they would, did the work in the time they said they would and cleaned up nicely after they were done. We had attempted to get the work done by two other contractors who agreed to do it, then never showed up. Patriot's promptness and quality of work really impressed us. We would definitely hire them again if we need other work done.

We have been having issues with different company and did a very sloppy job for downstairs flooring installment and they were having issues installing the floor upstairs. I got tired of them and checked out patriot flooring here in angies list and God behold! They came fixed it up, installed the floor, finished it in estimated time that they said it was gonna be done and very flexible with schedule! They were professional and very knowledgeable on what they do. 15/10 would hire them again! They set the bar high for other flooring companies. Patriot flooring is just that good!

Patriot Flooring was fabulous. The work was excellent, and it’s clear James knows his profession and is passionate about it. They explained the process every step of the way. We were doing some demo/side work ourselves (such as roughing in new plumbing) and James and Tammy gave us tips, left us tools to borrow, and even picked up materials for us while they were out at the store. We had a thick terrazzo tile for one wall which shipped from California and I had no worries about leaving it to Patriot Flooring to get done right. We would (and will) absolutely hire this team again!

Everything was great! Mr and Mrs Baker - the business owners- were great. They came over to look at the job and give us an estimate. They stopped by everyday to ensure the job was going well, answer questions, and make sure our needs were being met. Dave was the remover/installer - he was on time, polite, and gave quality work.
