"Tim was excellent! Very professional! Hard to find a great contractor in obx. We are re having a house an needed extra help. Tim showed up when he said, did an amazing job! He fixed outdoor shower, installed a few new ceiling fans an overhead lights. He is staining the pool deck, fixed exterior doors, and did some demo. Have had him clean gutters, do some painting, he is a carpenter too. Fixed some deck boards around the pool.. I call him for everything I can't do myself no job to big or small for him. "Great Jeff Patterson came out checked roof, did minor repairs as part of deal. Roof needed some shingles replaced and end caps repaired. Jeff gave price we agreed and were told someone would be out in week or two. next day guy came out and did the work. couldn't ask for better action. told roof would last 4 to 5 years and that was a pleasant surprise as every one around us having new roofs ."

"Home Fix installed new windows several years ago. As part of that they put aluminum siding on the bump out under my bay window. The windows are great and I was very happy with them, but I discovered last year that the siding was leaking into my kitchen and much of the wood had rotted. Jonathan at Home Fix stepped in and helped me to resolve this problem. The company sent a team of two men to build an entire new bump out. They did a great job and there was no cost to me. I appreciate that they honored their warranty without any debate."

"the work was started a few days after the contract was agreed too and signed. Work progressed fairly rapidly until we got into a period of wet weather which slowed the work down but persistence paid off and it was finally completed about on the schedule if you consider the rain days.
The work looked good, the doors were installed perfectly, the old electrical cover plates were replaced.  We particularly like the way the outdoor lights, outlet, power meter etc. were mounted to the house and trimmed out.   
overall we were very happy with the work and will use American Home Improvements and Remodeling again.
