This was an interstate move (DC to PA) in less-than-ideal conditions (we had to move an adult family member out of the apartment). Mike came out to the house to look things over and talk through the details of my move requirements; most of the bids were all virtual, this personal touch did make a difference. The price he quoted ended up being right in the middle of the other bids and I went with them. Moving day was scheduled on a day that was calling for TERRIBLE weather and Mike was able to accommodate my request to move the date up by a day which was perfect. The movers were super punctual, super professional and so helpful as some of the "where to put things" decisions were not all worked out. They were patient and also so pleasant to work with.
