"Destiny was one of 4 different tree services that provided assessments and quotes for the work needed. We based our decision of which service to go with on schedule, cost and performance reviews. Nancy was the scheduler that sent Marvin to do the assessment. Marvin was professional, friendly and fully explained his assessment as to what and why was needed. Two days after we called Nancy Marvin and his crew arrived. 4 hours later all of the trees were trimmed, the branches and leaves were “chips” and the yard was fully cleaned. Marvin and his team were outstanding and watching them work was like watching Circus Olay. We will use Destiny again when we need additional arborist work."

"The front yard of my townhouse was a mess. I had mostly weeds and dirt and a burning bush and tree that was out of control. Juilo and his crew came in and within two days, removed the burning bush, trimmed the remaining bushes, trimmed back the tree and installed a beautiful retaining wall, with river stone and perennials, and added new sod. Although the terms tree trimming and tree pruning are used interchangeably, they are very different types of tree maintenance. While the fastest way to kill a tree is to simply cut it down, there are several other methods to choose from. You should hire a professional tree removal service to cut down a tree to ensure your personal and property safety. Some slower but effective options include treating or grinding the tree stump or using a basal bark treatment. 

Trees don’t usually grow back after being cut down. Some particularly robust tree species may start sending up new stems from a stump to recover, but those stems won’t become a “tree” like before. Generally, trees don’t recover from being entirely cut down, which is why it’s important to be careful when making a decision. When you cut down a tree, it’s a good idea to make plans to remove the stump, even if it’s unlikely to grow back.

These cuts can weaken your tree, lower its natural defense mechanisms, and even cause decay. You’ll also want to avoid tree topping, which is the total removal of the leader and upper main branches of a tree.
