The first two times I used this company I was very impressed. Unfortunately I was disappointed when I contacted them for another job this spring. I sent an email and waited one week with no response. Because the company had been very responsive when I previously hired them, I thought it was possible the email did not go through. I called and left a voice mail, stating I was a prior customer and explaining that I needed tree work. It's been more than one week and I still have not received a response. I will be looking for another arborist.

Our yard is heavily wooded, so we had a grove of fairly mature tulip poplars (couple up to 120 ft tall) in our front yard - some of which were unhealthy. Mark came out for a site visit and described his approach to fell the trees, which was clearly documented in his quotation. Services also included chipping smaller branches and removal of healthy logs so it could be taken to a sawmill. On the day of Mark's crew performed the job without issue. I had concerns about the trees being dropped over our drain field, but they did a good job buffering the fall of the big ones with the smaller trees. While the crew waited for the logs to be loaded into the truck with their skid steer they did a great job with cleanup. They blew any debris off the lawn and chipped other brush we had on the property from the prior storm. I really appreciate their hard work ethic and commitment to a job well done.

Mark came out and looked at all our trees and found one tree we didn't know was hazardous (decayed all through the bottom) and gave us a lot of information about trees that we thought were concerning (but weren't). Overall, he suggested we take down one tree and we asked him to take down another. The crew showed up on time on the day of the job and worked efficiently! They split the wood from the oak and stacked in a fairly neat pile. The left the yard cleaner than when they arrived. Great job and we would definitely hire again! Thank you!

We could not be happier with the tree removal service provided by Mark. Once called, Mark was immediately responsive by phone, visited our property for a survey and provided an immediate quote for a days worth of tree removal service. On the day of service, Mark and his crew arrived at the agreed upon time and worked dilligently to remove the many trees we had identified for removal and the branches we identified for pruning. His crew was exceedingly curteous, worked fast, cleaned up the remnants of debris and was as professional as we could have hoped. We paid for a days worth of service and Mark removed far more than we expected possible from an 1.5 acre yard. Also worth noting, Mark was the only tree removal company to return our call. If and when we require tree service in the future, we will be utilizing the services of Clean Cut Tree Services.

 I would absolutely recommend Clean Cut Tree Service, LLC  to someone who needs tree work.  Very satisfied!

I originally needed a huge tree that had been struck by lightning close to my house to be cut down.  If this tree (or its branches) fell naturally, it would have caused major damage in any direction.  Mark Hawthorne (and crew) figured out a plan to safely bring it down without damaging the house or fence.  I also had other trees that needed to come down but didn't require the same level of specialty handling.  

Mark and crew were wonderful to work with.  They did all the work with a very soft ground (from all the rain we kept having) and there was very little ground damage which was amazing.  I've had trees cut down before when the ground was harder and had more damage.

I hired Mark, in part, because he is an arborist.  I had a magnolia close to the house that needed some pruning help.  They pruned the tree and it looks great.

Very efficient.  Used a high lift to access trees rather than climbing so was very fast and efficient.  Left the area very clean with the area swept clean.

I was greatly satisfied with the work Clean Cut performed.  After obtaining several bids I settled on Clean Cut.  Spoke with Mark, Clean Cut's owner, on site to discuss the job.  The Oak needing removal was quite tall and we decided to have the stump ground down and plant a Green Emerald arborvitae in its place.  
Mark showed up on time with necessary equipment and spent most of the day performing the work required.  It was a treat to see an old school arborist who didn't need a cherry picker to dispatch the trees.  He hauled away all refuse and paid attention to cleaning up the driveway before leaving.  I can recommend Clean Cut to you without any reservations.

Their price was comparable. The actual work itself was fine. I didn't have any issues with their quality. I had given them a deposit. When it was time to pay them, I said, "What about paying you?" He goes, "Oh, I'll bill you." I never got a bill. Three months later, I called them. I'm like,"Are you ever going to charge me for this?" They were like, "Oh, well we think we sent you the fax. But, yeah. Okay." So, if I hadn't called them, who knows if they ever would have even noticed that I hadn't paid them. So, professionalism on that was a little bit of an issue. They had to put a dumpster in front of my house for the wood chips and everything. They didn't do their best job of cleaning up. When we moved the dumpster, I had a lot of wood chips from this tree. They left a bag of trash and they left four orange traffic cones just randomly sitting there. That's a little bit of a question mark for me. I would recommend them to a friend but I would tell them to beware.
