Once onsite, Carlos and his colleague knew exactly what to do and how to run the new electric circuit across the house from the electrical panel to the garage. The installed the EV charger we had purchased separately exactly how we wanted it. Everything worked perfectly. They even went the extra mile to come back and patch the garage drywall where they had made a few holes to run the cable even though it was not included in the job initially. "It was difficult for me to describe what type of wire had been severed by a previous work crew -- who never bothered to tell me that they had cut a wire while they jack-hammered my back concrete deck --  so we agreed that when the electrician had another job in my area, he would stop by to assess my workscope.  He did that on Friday -- fortunately I was here because I got no call in advance  -- and he concluded that the work could be performed at that time.  The wire was reconnected and tested to see if all of the electricity-consuming featured in the gazebo worked.  Not all did, but that was the fault of the appliance, not the work performed by the electrician.  I asked that, as an extra service, he tack up another electrical line so that I wouldn't sever it when I mowed along the edge and under my deck, and he did so cheerfully.  The two-man crew was here for a bit more than an hour and accomplished what I had asked him to do in the Angie's List Big Deal, which was two man-hours of electrical work of any kind.  I have greater peace of mind now that my dogs can play in the back yard without my worrying that they will come in contact with a live wire..
