"Fernando and Nick did an amazing job totally reinvigorating our extensive, 20-plus-year-old backyard fence. Their power-washing alone made it look nearly new! Before buying our stain color in bulk, they were willing - on short notice - to purchase small amts of 2 colors and paint each on the fence so we could make the best choice. And when several worn boards needed replacing and we realized we needed new hardware on the fence gates, they didn't miss a beat and made time to complete those tasks. Their pricing was excellent and their courteous, service-focused manner was refreshing. We promptly recommended them to a neighbor and began thinking of more jobs they could complete for us."

"Steve did a wonderful job on my cabinet door installation. He made sure that the job was done perfectly and even cleaned up after. I am very happy with how the doors turned out. It is great to know that he wanted to make sure the work was done right."

Customers say: Quality work

"OUTSTANDING! Cannot recommend any higher! Great job from start to finish . Repaired three fence gates in preparation for pool opening May 1. Very professional. Provided prompt response to bid request. Gave estimate, said he could take care of the following week. Gave $500 deposit and he came back when he said he would and took half day to do the work. The repaired gates operate better than when the fence was originally built: I guarantee it. He said I owed him $650.00. He and his associate got $750.00 cash from me and I’m not sure the $100.00 “top” was enough. But, that’s all the cash I had. Hire this guy. If he says he can do it: he can do it. P.S. Miguel, your DeWalt battery charger is still on my front porch….."

"Bob and his team did a great job helping me with some plumbing repairs at my house. I had old fixtures and they were able to replace all of the shower and sink fixtures in both bathrooms. Very reasonable and responsive. Will happily use them again for future work."

"I can’t say enough about this service. They clearly knew how to evaluate and fix the door. Unfortunately, it required more than I wanted To do, and they graciously took it out and disposed of the door. The price was fair, and the guys wonderful. I could not recommend them more."

Treehouse Builders questions, answered by experts

Establish a four-season routine to stay ahead of VA weather. In late winter, assess your nursery bed drainage to prevent water pooling in the heavy clay soil. During spring, check your glazing seals and service cooling fans. By late summer, secure all anchors and frames before peak hurricane season. Finally, in late fall, confirm your heating system operates perfectly before freezing temperatures arrive to ensure successful greenhouse and nursery service year-round.

Helpful?

Timelines for greenhouse and nursery service in VA depend heavily on the project scope and seasonal demand. Minor seasonal startup tasks take one to two days, while replacing polycarbonate panels takes two to five days. Installing a new structure requires one to three weeks, plus an additional two to four weeks if local permits are required. Schedule your projects during winter to avoid the busy spring backlog and common summer rain delays.

Helpful?

Watch for persistent mold, condensation pooling, or unexplained plant die-off, as these signal ventilation failures in Smithfield. After any tropical storm or winter ice event, inspect your property for cracked glazing and warped frames. When overnight lows consistently stay above 40 degrees Fahrenheit in early spring, book greenhouse and nursery service to prepare your cooling systems. For heating, schedule your system check in September before the first fall frost hits.

Helpful?

The humid subtropical climate of Smithfield directly impacts greenhouse and nursery service. High summer humidity reaching 80% creates a pressing need for ventilation and moisture management to prevent fungal diseases. Additionally, coastal winds from nearby Hampton Roads and periodic winter ice storms damage glazing and structures. Prepare for these extremes by scheduling cooling system maintenance and shade cloth installations before the intense July heat arrives.

Helpful?

Keep functional hygrometers and backup ventilation components to manage the high humidity in Smithfield. Stock polycarbonate panel tape and temperature-appropriate sealants to quickly address storm damage. You also need heavy-duty drainage tools to manage water buildup in the local clay soil. Finally, keep row cover fabric, thermal blankets, and spare anchoring hardware readily available to support your own greenhouse and nursery service tasks before severe weather strikes.
