"This review is unusual because I'm whole-heartedly recommending Aqueduct even though I haven't used them. The owner, John, came to our house in response to our having moisture in our basement caused, we assumed, by a crack in the wall. He determined that the crack was from settling and did not involve structural damage. The moisture was coming from above ground level through openings around a dryer vent, cable entrance, etc. as well as runoff from two downspouts. Rather than scare us with horror stories of what would happen unless we paid him several thousand dollars to excavate around the outside of the foundation, he suggested we first try the far easier, cheaper steps of caulking, extending downspouts, and building up the slope around the foundation. At first I wondered how such an honest man, foregoing a $4,000 job by recommending a simpler solution, could stay in business. Then I realized he's been in business for years because he proves his trust worthiness. I know he's the man I'll call if I need a more thorough solution."
