"Excellent services and value. The difficulty was we were replacing the existing out of code stairs with stairs in code on a split-level home. All other carpenters told us the bottom stairs would have to extend past the wall on the bottom floor, which would create a tripping hazard. Paul looked at the work, then recommended a way to repair the stairs without making it noticeable or extending past the bottom wall. The advantage of Paul was he saw the problem and immediately knew how to correctly fix it, and it looks perfect. Without his insight, we would have been stuck with something that didn't look go and making me mad we even had it done. Plus the wife threw in those little extras as she does and Paul handled them without delay. My mistake was not having him also do the landing, but now I definitely know who to call for this job. If you want the job done right and leave behind a high quality finished product, he's who you should call. Oh, and the installation was very difficult due to our schedules, but Paul worked around us, got all the information he needed and installed the stairs within 1-day. Now, I look forward to going up and down the stairs, plus, it really added value to our home!!!"
