"Beyond my expectations! The old door was condensing inside and out, we knew there would be extensive damage to the wood framing and floor area beneath. It was worse than I expected. Mike installed the new door, created a way for our pet door to fit while still being able to LOCK the slider! Over three days - the tear out, purchasing of many materials, repairing the frame, installing the new door, repainting/restoring the interior and exterior to BETTER than they previously appeared, and rigging that new and improved pet door - he worked diligently. I have never had a workman that was so neat! Cleaning up debris, bagging trash, maintaining the work area organized and safe. I have already recommended him to friends, and they have all said how great he was! I have many other projects planned, and will not hesitate to call Home Remedies again."

He listens and offers suggestions when needed or appropriate. I also used an interior designer with whom he worked with ease. We had an aggressive time frame for this project and it was met. Our two favorite things about working with Gary and his crew are 1) their quickness in responsiveness and 2) quality control. On multiple occasions I witnessed Gary instructing a crew member to "rip it out and start all over". In our experience with house projects, that is a rarity. Most contractors are okay with mediocre work to save time and effort. As a result, the end product was great. "We were looking for a contractor to build a handicap ramp to our front door. After reached out to some contractors, Alexander Davis quickly provided us a quote that was lower than others. Once we signed the contract, they started the work 3 days later as scheduled. Once on site they work hard and get the ramp done the next day and cleaned up the site neatly before they left. The product and workmanship are high quality, and best value for the price quoted. Highly recommend this contractor."

"Angel came to our home and did multiple jobs including installing a coffered ceiling in our 20 foot double story family room, doing wall paneling, installing crown molding, building built ins in the closet, and installing a back splash in our kitchen. He is incredibly professional and willing to work with whatever ideas you might have. He went above and beyond and found scaffolding for our tall ceilings which others weren't willing to do. He allowed our painters and electricians to use this as well which ultimately saved us costs in other parts of our project. His quotes are fair and he is always quick to respond. He spent two hours with us helping us design what we wanted and his work was impeccable and completed on time as promised. I would highly recommend him to anyone."

Needed carpenter to build a footbridge using repurposed wood, install insect screen under raised screen-in porch, install oak handrails, fix the threshold to our front door, and add shoe molding in basement. JW (owner) was pleasant, professional, and thorough when he came out to give an estimate. He listened to what we wanted done and suggested ways to make it work. Scheduling was a breeze. A team of two came out to complete our projects. Of course temperatures were in the 90s, but they worked nonstop. Pedro (crew chief) built our footbridge based only on description. The results were amazing. It's sturdy, attractive, and durable. Kudos for great work. Other projects were completed within the timeframe with Kevin working on the screen and railings with assistance from Pedro. The crew was timely, professional, courteous. They cleaned up at the end of each day. All work was completed within 4 days. There was only a minor issue with the oak hand rails (needed additional sanding) -- which was remedied quickly after review of the project manager, Bob. JW was a tad more expensive that other bids, but in the end, well worth the price. Glad we went with them."
