The workers arrived punctually and proceeded to do the job agreed to in a matter of 2 and 1/2 hours. Upon completion, they were paid for services rendered as agreed to. Later that evening we had heavy rainfall and I heard splashing against the side of the house. On inspection, I saw that one of the downspouts had come away from the elbow connecting it to the gutter. The water was pouring out from the gap between elbow and downspout. Since prior to the work completed by J&J Handyman Services, there had been no leak there, I concluded that when they were adjusting their ladder for access to the gutter in question, the workers had accidentally knocked either the elbow or the downspout, knocking them out of alignment and thus causing the leak when it rained. I called and texted Jesse the owner of J&J Handyman Services three times asking him to return to address the problem by realigning elbow and downspout. However my calls and my texts were ignored. I told Jesse that if he did not agree to my request, I would lodge a formal complaint with Angi. That too was ignored.

"We were hired to install gutter guards on this customers "summer house" and That's what we did. The customer and i checked my work together and then i was paid . He confirmed that everything was good. A few days later there was a huge storm. Then i get a phone call. The customer wants me to return and fix a down spout for free. That would be fine had it been my fault, but it wasnt. Down spouts are screwed together, they dont just get knocked out of alignment. I dont work for free."

They remodeled a portion of my deck so I could have a place to sit in the warmer weather to enjoy my dinner. They were able to finish it in a day and it looks absolutely wonderful. It all came together after the table and chairs and hanging lights were added. 10/10 would recommend!
