Even now when we need some minor improvements needed Jordi is very helpful to find time to get it done. "If you want to work with someone condescending, rude, confrontational, unprofessional, and whose contractors workmanship is probably the worst I have ever encountered in my 30 years of working with contractors, THIS IS YOUR GUY. I can ramble on about the false promises, the horrible workmanship, the constant delays, the lack of communication, the rude and confrontational text messages. I guarantee Mr. Shank will in fact respond to this review and try to flip the script and blame it all on me somehow. He talks very poorly about all his customers well at least the ones he doesn't like. Not sure what that is based on although I do have some idea what is based on. But he never made anything explicit, so I can't make accusations that he is a racist. So I am definitely not saying he is a racist because he didn't do anything racist. But if he was a racist it would explain why he didn't give two poops about doing good work for multiple projects I provided him. I also have multiple properties and was hoping to make Mr. Shank a lifelong contractor. In a nutshell, he has done 2 projects for me at 2 properties. One was installing a threshold for a glass enclosed shower stall. His crappy sub contractor (they are not employees) despite him saying they are employees, did not install any grouting on the threshold. Fast forward 1 year, and mold is popping up all around the threshold. Rather than dealing with this individual, I hired another contractor to fix up his mess. Second job, and my second mistake, I hired him for a full scale home renovation for around 50K. That project was an absolute disaster. He took 3 months to do what he promised to me verbally would be a 3 week job. I don't really want to spend 1 hour writing down all the crap he did wrong. I'll try so sum up the highlights. Ripped out old flooring, promised to make new flooring level after installing new concrete by using lasers. New flooring is totally not level and as bumpy as walking on your local trail. The shoe moldings around the flooring look like a child installed them. I had to argue with him to get him to regrout the bathroom which was in his contract in the first place. I can go on and on. For sure if you are someone that Mr. Shank likes and match his criteria of what he likes, whatever that could be I have no idea definitely not race related. He may do a great job for you and that may explain the great reviews. I myself had a horrible experience with Mr. Shank and his group of sub contractors who just plain do terrible work. Ignore my review or take it seriously, frankly this guy will keep getting business cause he's a great salesman. Even has a LinkedIN profile to show how professional he is. Epic scammer and fraud. Stay away."

"The owner came out 7/10/25 to take a look at work to be done on my condo. Upon leaving he told me he would provide an estimate. That was 7/10/25. Today is 7/24 and I never heard from him. If he decided the work wasn't for him for whatever reasons, he should have told me he wasn't interested, not tell me he would get back to me with an estimate."

"We hired Kitchen Savers to help remodel our kitchen. After a few delays due to COVID-19, work got under way June 1st. Hasan the installer was awesome. He spent 5 days in a row with us doing demolition, resurfacing the cabinets, installing the new oven/microwave, crown molding, etc. Kitchen Savers was very professional and nicely orchestrated their subcontractors (Rock Tops for the countertops, electrician for the under cabinet lighting, plumber to install the sink and garbage disposal, etc.). We are very pleased with the workmanship and the final outcome. Even when we had an issue with one of the cabinet doors a few weeks later, Kitchen Savers sent out a workman to rehang the door with a double hinge and solved the issue free of charge. The only negative comment is that while Kitchen Savers works with subcontractors for certain things (i.e. countertops, etc.), that is where things end. So you have new cabinets and new countertops, but no backsplash. That's kind of crazy. If you want a backsplash or wall tile between the countertops and cabinets, you are on your own to fine another contractor. Likewise for flooring. This caused some issues as our floor contractor wanted to demo the floor before the cabinet work was done and we had to do a bit of juggling. It would have been nice to have one main contractor who organized and scheduled all the subs."

"I contacted RC Home Renovations to repair the soffit on our front porch. Richard came out to review the work and provided me a quote via email which I agreed to and signed. I was told that the work would be completed on a Saturday (July 17th) which was 11 days away from the date of the signed contract. I received a text around 8am Saturday morning (THE MORNING OF!) stating that they couldn't locate the plywood for the soffit so they have to order it but its not coming in until the following week. I text Richard the following Wednesday asking for an update....no response. I followed up with another text the following Monday...no response. I never heard anything back so I hired someone else to complete the job which is being completed as I type this."
