We obtained numerous quotes for both projects, and JP was always the most transparent, honest, and cheapest. We could not be happier with everything his team did for us--a retaining wall, patio, and fence. He totally transformed our back yard. He was patient as we worked through what exactly we wanted and our budget. Once we made a decision and he had the materials, his team showed up right away and worked hard. "Thank you for giving me my backyard back from a post storm swamp to a nicely sodded yard. I’ve worked with “several dozen” contractors as a landlord during the past 30 years and I can count on “one hand” those contractors who have clearly stood out for their quality work, honesty and professionalism. Even my tenants commented on the quality and meticulous job that was completed in the backyard. I received 5 different quotes for this job. Two contractors did not bid on this project due to the large size and scope of the project. Another very popular drainage/landscaping company in Prince William County submitted a very low price for the job but their verbal description of the work to be done and their unlimited, “to-good-to-be true” warranty was not reflected in the contract. The price provided by Premium Drainage & Erosion Solutions was competitive and the scope of work was very detailed. This project was somewhat large in scope and involved 25 yards of top soil to be added to the backyard. I’m grateful for the company’s honesty to bring in the full amount. I’ve dealt with some contractors that would bring in less but charge the full amount. Although the contract required placing grass seed and straw in the backyard they placed sod throughout the backyard at no additional charge. The backyard looks beautiful. I strongly recommend that you include this locally owned business when getting price quotes for your drainage/erosion projects."

"These guys are awesome, and I am so glad we came across them! After our regular lawn crew let us know about several patches of poison Ivy in our yard I searched for Ivy removal, but it is very hard to find people that will remove by hand without spray, chemicals, and damaging surrounding trees. Blane was able to come out quickly for an estimate, and while he was out I asked about removing some (a lot of) English Ivy as well. We decided to move forward and boy am I glad we did. They came out within a day removed very large areas of both English and poison Ivy from our yard, no trees damaged in the process. They also removed several dead bushes and put down mulch. Our back yard looks completely different now, and we enjoy it so much more! It has now been several months and I am happy to report that none of the Ivy has grown back. Without hesitation I would recommend Blaines Landscaping. Especially if you want to save your trees and get rid of invasive Ivy for good."

"I needed a wooden fence repaired on short notice. Edin responded to my Angi's List posting, looked at the fence and 2 gates to repair, then gave me a good estimate on the work. Initially I thought the estimate to be a little high however, looking at the detail he offered, the estimate was reasonable. Edin adjusted his other projects to take care of the fence as the timing was critical. When completed, he replaced one section of fence, re-set another post that was moved over the years by the yard (he re-set the post in cement) and connected the loose sections to the post correctly, repaired two gates that needed cross-boards replaced plus re-set the posts for the gates, and replaced hinges and latches on 3 gates. All of this was done in one day and turned out exceptionally well. I wish I had engaged him last year! Holy Land Landscaping is top-notch. They cleaned up the yard when finished and truly did a very professional job. Thank you Edin and team!! (and by the way, the price was quite reasonable for the work and quality provided).
