This was a long project, as my kitchen wasn't constructed to support the weight of a granite countertop. In addition, I had a radiator under the sink which restricted the size of the replacement under mount sink. Initially, things went quickly. I met with Teri at the showroom, was informed of options and the like, and scheduled a measuring with Joey. I put down an estimated 1/3 at this time. Joey came as scheduled and I was informed and shown that part of my counter didn't have sufficient strength to support the granite. A possible solution was decided on and the project was put on hold while we waited for a kitchen cabinet maker to meet with me to see if the solution would work. Eventually, I met with an excellent cabinet maker and we ended up replacing part of my kitchen with new custom cabinets and at the same time removed the old cast iron under sink radiator and put in a modern slim radiator. After the cabinet was installed, WMG came out and did a beautiful job on the installation of the granite and the under mount sink. A plumber finished off the work and we're very happy with the final product.

Great experience. We were comfortable paying alittle more as WMG assured us they could fab and install the granite without seams. It took a crew of 4 men to accomplish the task and they did a fabulous job. Teri was wonderful and all the other folks we met at WMG were just as pleasant and professional.

I called several shops and no one would do it because it's a small job and messy. Washington Granite and Marble had an opening so they came right away. They did a great job cutting the granite without damaging the counters. They were quick and cleaned up so that I was not left with a mess. The crew was very professional and helpful. I would use them again.

At the recommendation of my cabinet provider, I contacted this company for a quote, sending them drawings and asking for some advice on supporting a shelf. While there seemed to be some minor misunderstandings on the quote, it was in the range of others. I then went up to see their granite remnants and was quite impressed. The staff was very supportive, having an umbrella and water available for the heat. There were numerous options that ere a good fit. There was a delay in getting a quote difference on one of them. On their behalf, they reserved the remnant and ended up honoring the original price on this specific piece. The man who came to measure was very professional and worked efficiently. The installers were superb. There was a minor difference with my expectations on when a curve started; however, it's fine from a design point of view. I am quite pleased with the results and feel that the pricing was fair and the quality of the installation, well above others I have had.

I contacted this company on a whim hoping they could help with an oddball job. We already had granite in our kitchen, but recently removed the 4 inch granite back splash as we wanted to tile the entire back splash. After removing 3 heavy pieces of back splash, there were some pretty large gaps between the counter and the wall. So large that wall tiles would not begin to cover-up the issue. We asked Washington Marble and Granite if they would chop down the 4 inch granite to a shorter height. Joey helped us out and made himself available on a Saturday, which is not a normal business day for them. After about 45min, we left their shop with some spiffy 1.5 inch granite back splash pieces (if we had to have them, figured we would make them smaller). Super friendly and they did a great job with our weird request. We plan to use them in the future for some bath remodels.

WMG gave me an estimate based upon my drawings that was comparable to
big box store sale prices. Upon my accepting his estimate, I went to
the facility to examine the actual slabs of granite at their facility.
While there, the owner gave us a tour of their hi-tech automated
facility that cuts the slab to exact specifications. After we picked
out our particular slab and signed a contract, they provider scheduled a
time when they could come out, do a site survey and make exact
measurements using a computerized measuring system. Joey came out and
took the measurements, giving us many helpful suggestions regarding the
bar section of the countertop. There was about a two week period of
time that our slab was cut and fabricated. The install crew even came
on a Saturday to accommodate our needs. The install only took about two
hours for the 55 square feet of granite. It was extremely well done.
The crew was friendly and informative as they gave us an orientation of
how to care for it. The crew also ran into some problems with the
leveling of the cabinetry which they had not installed, but worked to
remedy the situation with little obstacle.
We are very pleased and highly recommend them for the service, selection, professionalism and competitive pricing.

I selected granite from their granite yard, and they cut, polished, and installed the new pieces. I have a large, oddly shaped island with a cooktop cutout, and they were able to do the entire island out of one piece of granite. They did a great job measuring everything out and minimizing the number of seams that I have. It looks amazing. They have been owned by the same family for 3 generations. It is a great family business, and they are great people who stand by their word. Their service is excellent, and they take the time to help you to pick the right stone for you, for what you’re doing. The price was definitely reasonable, and I felt the quality of work was top notch.

They were very professional and showed up on time everyday when they were supposed to. They were very clean and never left a mess behind. They are great! I have a lot of confidence in them. Lucky for me, they were willing to work that far away in Delaware. They made two trips which were over three hours away for measurements and then for installation. The granite has a lot of movement in it and the fabricator diligently worked for about two hours trying to figure out how I could use that slab so that you wouldn't see the seam and salvage enough of the slab to use in the bathroom and he succeeded. Five years after the granite was installed in my kitchen of my primary home, there was a stain in the granite that I could not get out. They sent two guys over and they spent one and a half hours and were able to buff it out. I will be hiring them again for another custom granite job for my vanity. The company consists of several generations within the family. They are great and truly an amazing group. I couldn’t say enough good things about them. I have referred them to several people.

The work was fine. The installation went fine and there were no problems at all. They did extra work that another company didn't mention they complete as a regular routine and they put in a steel rod reinforcement under the sink. I was more than happy with them. I liked the selection they offered. We went to another countertop to company and they offered a much less selection. They were extremely nice and they also followed up with us even when we weren't so timely with them. They were very informative and answered all of our questions. They were a pleasure to deal with. We are going to remodel our own kitchen and we will definitely consider using them.

I needed the countertops installed promptly before my sons birthday party. They performed the estimate and fabrication within two weeks of contacting them. At the office the lady (I have since forgetten her name) was very friendly and patient as I was juggling my three year old at the appt. She gave her a cute light up Santa pen and the guys in the office gave her a box of chocolate. It was a nice gesture that was not expected or obligatory on their part. They were all professional and I would certainly recommend their services.

We had a good experience with Washington Marble & Granite. First, they have a very large selection. Although we didn't go with a particularly exotic granite and could have easily purchased our granite elsewhere and for a lower price, we chose to go with Washington Marble & Granite. We liked that they are a well-established company so that if we were ever to have an issue, we would have someone to turn to. As mentioned, we could've gotten the same granite a bit cheaper at some other companies, but are not confident that those companies will even be in existence in the future. We're happy with our decision and our new countertops.

Joey from Washington Marble and Granite meet with us at a time of our choosing. He described that he could not give us an estimate at this time as his job was to do an initial measurement so that when we visited the company site to choose the granite then the estimate could be prepared. Next we had to make an appointment to visit the company store to choose from a wide range of stones what we wanted in our kitchen.
When we visited the outside lot on a nice sunny day to choose our countertop the company owner grabbed an umbrella on the way out the door. I thought this strange but this item is very important when trying to pick out your granite. When looking at the stone in sunlight then in the shade of an umbrella the colors are quite different. He wanted to make sure we were not disappointed once the stone was in our home where you do not have direct sunlight. We made our choice then he provided us an estimate via email within 48 hours.
We accepted the contract. Then Joey made another visit to double check his measurements and confirm the work to be performed. 3 days later after the countertops were cut and polished the installation crew arrived on time to do the work. They were very professional and did a wonderful job paying close attention to detail as they sealed around the edges and sink.
Just a note they do not do plumbing. I hired a plumber to install a new garbage disposal and faucet. There is also an extra cost if you have them remove the old countertops. In my case I did this myself. It was not a very difficult task so you can save yourself some cash.
All and all I feel the granite countertops and the work performed were well worth the money.

They’re wonderful! Rob, the owner, is very trustworthy on his advice. He’s really easy to work with and is willing to get stone from any wholesale/warehouse, so you can have your pick of anything in the area. I have no complaints; they do excellent work.

The service went very well overall! They were great to work with. We changed our mind from our original selection to a new one. There weren’t any problems with that, since the granite hadn’t been cut yet. They usually don’t cut the granite until a few days prior to the installation. It was a good experience overall!

The service was excellent overall. The saleswoman, Terri, was terrific at taking the time to explain everything. I was new to this entire process, and she walked me through the entire thing. She gave me lots of time and attention; she really went above and beyond what I expected! The professional who installed the tops was also great to work with. There was a small problem with one of the tops which he took care of right away.
