After 5 years of self cleaning my stone kitchen floor and not being able to remove all of the dirt and grime buildup, I finally hired Rose Restoration to professional clean my floor. They did an outstanding job. The floor looks new again! The service technician was punctual and worked extremely hard for 6 hours. It was well worth the price and I will have them back in a few years for another spruce up.

Initially, I was very unhappy with the job. The floor was covered in smears and I was told I would need to wipe them off as the floors dried. The grout was also still very cracked and the few repairs that had been done just had grout pushed in on top of the cracked grout. The next day I called and expressed my dissatisfaction so they scheduled the technician to come back out a week later. By the end of another 6 hours, the floor is beautiful! Cracked grout was cut out in necessary spots, new grout put in, and floors hand buffed. Very happy with the end result....just a little tough getting there.

went well. not quite fixed the first time but they took another pass at it and it looked good. they were also very accommodating about pick-up times: they gave me the code to unlock their shop after hours when our schedules did not align.

Rose Restoration did an amazing job fixing my marble shower curb that was installed broken by RJA floors during a master bathroom remodel project into its original state. They repaired and polished the shower curb. I would highly recommend this company for any stone restoration work

The grinder, which uses water, left very little dust, and made the countertops look better. The work took a little less than two hours.

Rose was professional and responsive from first contact.  Their crew was on time and worked continuously until the job was completed.  There were a couple of minor logistical hitches due to restrictions of the condo and some language communication issues but they were resolved promptly and with minimal hassle.
The crew was very experienced in concrete restoration and left me with a beautiful, highly polished floor surface and two honed concrete pillars which make great design elements.  The process is expensive from any vendor but I felt that Rose's prices were fair and that they were dedicated to a positive customer experience.

This is the second time I've used Rose, and they were just as good this time around.  They are responsive, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and very reasonable in their pricing.  Bottom line, if you have granite or marble that needs a repair or touch up, Rose is the only company you should call!

We contacted two companies for estimates, one being Rose Restoration.  Hunter got back to us immediately, quoting a price for the job we described and telling us he could schedule the work for the same week.  We waited to hear from the other company but its owner did not get back to us in a timely fashion and only suggested a price for the job we wanted done when we said we had already scheduled the work to be done by Rose Restoration.  His quote was double the price given to us by Hunter.  He asked for the name of the company we had hired and when he was told it was Rose, he spoke highly of Hunter's company.  We appreciated this opinion from a competitor.
Because we waited a day to get back to Hunter, the work could not be completed that week but was scheduled for the following week.
Hunter didn't ask for pictures of the countertop that needed work, obviously comfortable quoting a price based on our description but we felt more comfortable sending him pictures anyway.  He didn't change his estimate based on what he saw.  He also reiterated that the chance of removing the rust stain was 70%-80%.
Hunter emailed at the beginning of the week the work was scheduled to ask if the work could be pushed back a day.  We had no problem with this request.
Mario, one of his employees, called ahead to announce his arrival time.  When he and his co-worker arrived, they requested time to quickly eat their lunch and again, we had no problem with this request.
They worked efficiently and diligently, patiently detailing their progress, eager to remove the stains.  They worked for almost three hours and achieved success.  The stubborn rust stains were removed from this newly installed marble countertop.  We were very relieved and very pleased with the job.

Overall it went beautifully.  The first team of workers that came out were superb.  They did the work meitculously, were careful with the rest of my house, and asked questions all along to make sure they knew what I wanted.  The second team wasn't as great.  The work wasn't as good.  They applied some caulking that was not very well done, sat on my nice furniture in work clothes, and someone actually had to come back to fix an error in the Corian polishing.  I will say Hunter made good on everything and was very responsive although once some scheduled workers didn't show up.

They were very easy to deal with, came on time, communicated with me about how the polishing was going - suggested the point at which they should stop as the marble is not that thick and cleaned up. I would definitely use them again for any stone polishing!

Rose Restoration was awesome!  We have granite counter tops in a unit that we rent out.  The previous tenant left an Easter basket full of fruit on the counter top.  The fruit rotted and leaked through the basket creating a small pool of fruit juice and basket dye on the granite.  It sat for months staining the granite under the sealer.
From the first phone call Rose Restoration offered up a solution that would not involve them coming out and charging the minimum $300 service fee.  The solution they offered was what they would actually have tried doing had they showed up which was to purchase a specific peanut butter consistency cleanser specific for pulling stains out of stones.  They explained how to use it, and for how long.  Despite them giving me this information, I still scheduled them to come out the following week to seal and shine up the counter tops.
The cleanser pulled about 60% of the stain out, but it was still visible.  When Rose Restoration came out to seal the granite, they also buffed the remainder of the stain out.  They explained that without using the cleanser for the week prior to them coming out they would not have been able to get the stain out with the buffing process, and they would have had to make multiple trips (each costing $300).  In the end, the counter tops looked better than when they were first installed!
The only issue was they were about an hour late to the appointment.  This was an issue because I was taking time off from work to meet them.  This was blamed on DC traffic, which I understand, but it should be expected and considered when scheduling.
Regardless of the tardiness, I would ABSOLUTELY use Rose Restoration again, and I highly recommend them for stone cleaning.

Overall, three workers spent almost 8 hours on the job.  They were
amazing.  Hunter (owner) came out to the house and quoted the job.  They
were able to fit me in quickly because I had them work on Saturday.
Highly recommend!

Both visits were by a single worker, who spent the entire day on my floor. The results are astonishing, it looks new.  They pointed out several cracked tiles, but as they predicted, the cracks no longer show. The floor is beautiful!   The second workman gave me advice (in Spanish) on how to clean it: hot water only, no detergent.  His work was meticulous:  he covered the wall up 18 inches to protect it from splashes, put down plastic so there was no tracking of mess, and he cleaned up everything before he left.
Response from ROSE RESTORATION
"Thank you for the Review! I apologize for the technician we sent only speaking spanish, that is not normal for us. Communication is important to us and 99.9% of the time we have an english speaking crew leader with the technicians. In your case we sent a technician who has been with the company many years do the job however, english is not his strong point. I was confident he could do a great job for you and not speaking english was an oversight on my part. Again, thank you for the great review and I am glad your floor looks great!!"
