"Perfect, 2 courteous gentlemen were here for 2 days and redid our front patio that my parents build 16 years ago. Some of the rows of bricks were sinking. "We had an old paver patio whose wooden borders had decayed and the pavers had sunk around the edges. The cracks between pavers were full of weeds. Kelly put new borders around the patio, masonry blocks with decorative pavers on top. They removed the weeds, powerwashed the dirt from between the pavers, and added polysand to prevent further problems. It looks great and was a lot cheaper than the bids to replace the whole thing. Kelly worked with my wife to select the color for the border, which she greatly appreciated. His crew was conscientious, thorough, and friendly. Our dog really liked them!"

"I signed a contract in January 2016 with First Impressions Hardscapes to extend my patio this year.  The work was  done in March In setting up the frame they drove a stake in the ground and broke a pipe in our underground sprinkler system.  When the  technician from the sprinkler system can to turn on our sprinkler they noticed that one area was not working.  Upon investigation they discovered that the pipe was broken. I called First Impressions Hardscapes and advised them of what had happened when their people came to extend our patio.We took pictures of the broken pipe and sent it to First Impressions Hardscapes along with a copy of the bill I received from the sprinkler company.

In May I contacted First Impressions Hardscapes but there was no response.  I contacted them again in early June and still no response. 

On June 21st I again contacted the representative of First Impressions Hardscapes and was told the request would be passed on to the billing department.  The company, in my opinion was refusing to reimburse me for the damage they incurred until I advised them that I was going to write a letter to the Better Business Bureau and Angie's List.  I received an email on June 22 stating that they would pay for the damage.  To date I have not received payment.  I will not recommend then to anyone.

"We had an old sagging poured concrete patio replaced with a bigger, flagstone patio in our backyard. We got several quotes from other highly rated companies and Mottern's quote was not only very competitive, but we also liked that they were willing to go the extra mile and tear out the existing concrete patio vs just building over it. Jeff and his crew were prompt, courteous, and communicative. During the tear out of the old patio, they ended up denting a bump out. When we brought it up with Jeff, he was super nice about it and took care of it right away - very professional. We love how the patio turned out! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them."
