Avi was super nice but he needed to be around more to oversee his cres work. His foreman, Alfonso, was completely dismissive and did crap work. He was eventually banned from our home. He installed the stove vent even though it had a dent, so I was unable to return it. That was $600 down the...

Changed all floor and wall tiles, remodeled the 72" vanity, counter top, and sink, replaced the toilet, changed the shower floor tiles, created a sitting bench inside the shower, replaced the faucet, and shower head. Recommended a partner company to replace the shower glass enclosure.

I had a leak under my kitchen sink, so I called Morgan Plumbing based on the positive reviews I saw on Angie’s List. I left a message, my phone call was returned within 30 minutes, and I was able to get a same day appointment which was great! A gentleman named Mike showed up at my house about...

Patrick Farrell gave us a quote by texting pictures of where we wanted our utility sink installed. He quickly texted back a proposed price and availability for installation. We added that we also wanted the washing machine shutoff valves replaced and he quickly sent a revised estimate,...

Repairman was prompt, courteous and efficient. Since this is an older house (built in 70's) and an old dishwasher, he had a bit of trouble getting to everything under the sink. However, he was able to effect a repair and save me from replacing the dishwasher. He explained what he was going...

After 23 years at this then new house, we had toilets backing up from multiple bathrooms, as well as sinks. They (two workers) gave us estimates of what may be wrong and what it would cost to fix different problems. They were accurate in diagnosing the problem, which was tree roots...

Here at Best Homes, our company is based on the belief that our customers' satisfaction is of the utmost importance. Our team is driven to meet your needs with professionalism, creativity, and efficiency. Established 2005. Owner: Jonathan Perez Office Manager: Paige Marie Campbell Project Manager: Jefry Perez
"Basement Project We absolutely love our new basement! I was very nervous when selecting the contractor for this job. I interviewed three contractors for the job, all seem very decent, but what set Best Home apart was Jeff Segovia. He designed the whole layout of our basement (we love it) and oversaw the entire project from beginning to end. The construction crews were very polite and friendly. Best Home did an excellent job and very flexible with many changes I had and they completed the job on time (took 3 months and exactly 1 week)which was amazing. I am actually hiring them again for additional projects. I highly recommend Best Homes!"

I received a text around 8am Saturday morning (THE MORNING OF!) stating that they couldn't locate the plywood for the soffit so they have to order it but its not coming in until the following week. "No estimate or work was done so I can't comment on any of that. The salesman apparently so hated to wear a mask that he felt the need to be rude and unprofessional. When an emergency occurred during his visit, he got angry and ran – embarrassing himself and his company. To add insult to injury the company leadership felt the need to insult and try to provoke me. Yes, at the same time the salesman arrived we had a pet emergency. Clearly a minor one to some. The death of a baby chick. Sounds like a joke but it isn't. I have limited mobility so I shouted to my wife for help believing my wife's remaining chicks were also in immediate jeopardy. She was in her flower garden so I opened the window and shouted for her by name. She could not hear me. After watching the remaining chicks suffer in pain I again called for her. Panicking now, I shouted a third time as loud as I could for her, again by name. Not knowing the salesman had even arrived. I didn't know why she was delayed. Hearing me, our oldest son left his mom with the salesman and came to my aid. Upon his arrival and after seeing and evaluating the situation, he went for help. I left the room with him. At that point I saw the salesman, for the first time, in our bathroom at the sink with the door wide open. I asked (using please and sir) he allow me into the bathroom. Like a shot he left the bathroom, angrily stomped down the stairs, out the door and sped away. When I saw my wife she was almost in tears. She was very upset and it took her a number of minutes just to calm down. According to her, and my son, the salesman came up to her in the garden not wearing a mask. We had requested he wear one and was assured by the scheduler that he would. When she asked if he would put on a mask he leaned forward into her face and shouted "what!?!" I can't explain how freighted she told me she was. My son told me he was shocked and believed the salesman came so close to her face and over-accentuated his response to demonstrate how much he resented being asked to wear a mask. My son said it was as if the salesman was faking a cough or sneeze into a customer's face as others have done before being thrown out of stores, etc. According to my son, at this point he heard my shouts for help and left his mom with the salesman and ran to help me. According to my wife, the salesman then held a mask to his face and sarcastically said, all right!?, can we do this!? He apparently followed her as she quickly walked away from him and toward the house. When he entered the house right on her heels, he again very sarcastically said, can we just do this now!? As she described it to me, she with up the stairs with him closely behind. When she went to show him the needed work upstairs, he just left her and went to the bathroom - where I saw him for the first time. Any animal dying in my hands touches my heart - that's just me. As a 60+ yr old 100% permanently disabled veteran you can accuse me of being overly sensitive. My wife is a long retired 30+ year RN, nearly my age and is now my full-time care giver. I am house bound without her. Clearly she and I are not a threat to anyone. Immediately, not knowing what happened I called Handyman Connection twice, hoping to reach someone to find out what had happened. I left two message asking for a return call immediately from someone in authority; that I didn't know if I needed to call an ambulance or the police since my wife was unable to tell me what happened. I wanted an explanation and I wanted it immediately. I got a call back alright…. Apparently from one of the owners. He said he had spoken to the salesman already and knew exactly what happened. He sarcastically 'apologized' and that his salesman understood, that my wife and I must just be ‘having a bad day.’ I was livid. When I accused his salesman of being "mean" to my wife the owner's anger exceeded mine by 100%. He made it clear to me his worker had been an employee for many years and had "hundreds" of positive reviews - that it was just me and my wife. When I repeatedly tried to express the results of the salesman's visit -- the owner verbally fought me, clearly not even pretending to consider any other view but his own. I am not a fighter. I have gone to great lengths to avoid conflict, even to the point of accepting, even fainting support when someone misses or needs to change an appointment, etc. This is a weakness that I have been working on for years. I will do anything to avoid making others feel sad, bad or embarrassed. However, the salesman, and now the company owner had insulted my wife. The owner refused to give me an email address so I could more clearly explain what had happened when I calmed down. He said he didn't want to hear any more of it, or from me again. He added that I was obviously a serial complainer and I didn't matter anyway. He ended by hanging up on me."

FAQs for sink reglazing projects in Linden, VA
The cost of home remodeling is $50,000 for the average homeowner. However, this cost can range anywhere from $3,000 for a small project to $170,000 for a whole home remodel. Factors like project size, location, and room type all affect your overall cost. For example, bedroom remodeling costs are one of the least expensive projects, costing about $1,500 to $5,500 per bedroom. However, a kitchen remodel has a significant cost range, totaling anywhere from $14,500 to over $70,000.
The cost to refinish a bathtub is $490 for most homeowners. However, this cost can range from $200 to $1,000 or more, depending on your tub's material and condition.
For example, enamel and cast-iron bathtubs are pretty straightforward to refinish, costing between $350 and $600. However, if you have an antique claw-foot tub, you can expect to pay between $500 and $1,200 for refinishing costs due to the care and complexity needed.
Yes, most states require home remodeling contractors to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed home remodeling contractor could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
The best time of year to remodel your home is late winter and early spring when fewer homeowners are thinking about projects and pros are more available. Also consider the type of remodel you want and plan ahead as much as possible. For example, the summer is a great time of year to update your fireplace, but winter is a better option for fixing foundations and building room additions.
Refinishing a bathtub is worth it if your tub has minor damage or is a color that you don't like. The cost of replacing a bathtub is more expensive than simply refinishing one, averaging around $5,300. It's more cost-effective to refinish your tub if you can, but it also gives you the look of a new bathtub without having to replace the whole thing.
