He and his crew came and did the job in under two hours. They cleaned up after themselves.   They seemed very knowledgeable and experienced dealing with the kind of sump pump I had installed, which is a newer sump pump (water powered back up sump pump).  They did a good job.

I called Rescue1 based on Angie's List reviews and was not disappointed.  Il left the repair cost box blank because everyone's needs will vary, based on the job, complications, etc.  I did call two other plumbers for estimates, and Larry's estimate was extremely competitive.  Larry listened to my description of the small rust marks around and on my water heater, and agreed that it probably needed to be replaced.  I'm happy that he is tech-savvy -- the night before the repair, I thought I had a major problem, and texted him with the question.  He responded ASAP to my question -- problem solved!  He and his assistant showed up on time, used the little booties religiously, and got right to work.  He was attentive to my concerns about the placement of the drain pan and heater itself.  He even made a proactive fix to a drain pipe because he didn't like its potential for leaking. Larry answered all my questions, educated me about how to keep the water heater running well, and had a great can-do attitude.  I will definitely use Recsue1 for my future plumbing/gas work.

He was AWESOME!  I have not seen customer service like this since my I left my small Nebraska farm town in 1989.  He knows what he is doing, explains everything, leaves a detailed report.

Went very well.  He went over the whole house, looked at all the fixtures and pipes, those that were visible.  Did the hot water heater tank flush, something I'd intended to do my self but kept putting it off.  He found some very minor issues with the plumbing and discussed everything in good detail.  I knew about most of them, but good to get his take on them.  He wore the little booties to keep from tracking stuff into the house, a small detail but one that my wife and I appreciated.  My impression is that here is a guy that knows what he's doing, is very customer focused, and is committed to doing a good job.  We're going to get him back to do some of the little tasks that need to be done.  I'm counting on the same level of detail and quality!

jLarry was prompt, responsive, professional, and honest. We had to replace our 16 year-old water heater. He had a preferred brand that would have been easier for him to acquire, but was honest and flexible when we decided to go with another brand we thought was a better choice based on our own research. He was able to get the water heater we wanted with only a few days' notice.  He was also honest with us about what would/wouldn't be possible for him to do, even though it meant the job would be less lucrative for him. We were considering replacing the diverter cartridge in one of our showers which had begun to leak hot water from the bathtub faucet when the shower was running. He was up front with us right away that he couldn't do the job without embarking on an expensive rebuild of the valve & fixture (the screw to access the diverter cartridge was completely rusted and wouldn't budge -- its been in place since the late 70s when the house was built). We would definitely use his services again.

I had just moved into my new home and had a few issues that needed to be dealt with. I ran out of propane and needed to have the tanks filled. The company came out to fill the tanks, but did not turn the gas on. No hot water, no cooking. They would not be out in my area (King George) until the following week. I was referred to Rescue 1 Plumbing and Gas. Larry Counts was on time, professional, honest and upfront about costs for the repairs.I called him on a Friday evening, and he was at my house to turn the gas on Saturday morning. Six days before the other guys could/would come out. It was quick and painless. And called the next day to make sure all was well. While he was here, we addressed the plumbing issues I was having. He came back a few days later to fix those issues. (It was a minor rebuild on a toilet and replaced a water pipe under my kitchen sink.) He was on time, professional, and honest. I plan on using this company for all my plumbing and gas needs for the future. I recommend Rescue 1 Plumbing and Gas to all my friends.

Rescue 1 Plumbing & Gas came out and did a fantastic job of replacing our kitchen sink, faucet and garbage disposal.  Even though they provided a slightly higher quote then some of the others we received we were very impressed with their professionalism and knowledge of the products.  When they came out to our house they brought a laptop which had an online catalog for us to go through to pick out the sink, faucet and disposal. After picking everything out we scheduled a date for install which was very fast. They arrived on time and were very courteous. While performing the work he was very clean and answered any questions I had along the way. The job was done in one day and looked fabulous. I am very happy with Rescue 1 Plumbing & Gas. I will recommend them to family, friends and neighbors.

He did a terrific job. He walked me through and explained things with the water heater and what is best for my home. He was very prompt for the appointments and got back to me right away. He showed me options to choose from, explained the features and benefits and details of the water heater and plumbing that I selected.  His prices are reasonable also.
