Custom Bath Reglazing

First a woman came out to do the prep work. She left the bathroom spotless. Then an hour later Ron came and reglazed the bathroom sink. It is a octagon step sink. It looks brand new. He did a wonderful job. While reglazing the sink he ran a exhaust hose out a window so there would be no smell in the house and he covered everything. When he was finished the bathroom was spotless. His price was very reasonable and I would highly recommend him.

Ron came over to my house at 9:30AM. He refinished both of my bathroom sinks and the bathtub. The tub had a big chip in it close to the drain and a patch that did not hold. One of the sinks had a big chip in it and unsightly rust stains. Both of the sinks and the tub were an unattractive blue color. Ron refinished the tub and caulked it. Now is is a beautiful white color. It looks like a brand new bath tub. He also refinished the sinks in white. He finished the job a 1:00PM. I appreciated the way he set up a negative pressure system by venting the chemicals through a tube out the bathroom window. He also did a great job projecting the faucets and shower head by wrapping them in paper towels and plastic. I only wish I had called Custom Bath Tub and Tile Reglazers sooner.

The tech spec decided he could not unclog the sink and informed me that the pipes needed replacing at a price in excess of 5k. Harts charged me 285.00 for that piece of advice. They left the drains clogged and I had to contact Conan the Drain man to come in and unclog the sink for 125.00.

Extremely well. It too a long time to unplug. The repairman had to get on the roof and access the vent in order to clear the pipes. He worked until he completed the job. I called them because they were having a special. It was well worth it. I think they lost money due to the time it took. Also, before the repairman showed up at our house, the company sent me his name, photo and a little personal background.

I needed to get some a bathtub as well as the formica surround and 2 sinks refinished. Sergio did an amazing job, things are now neatly repaired and they certainly went above and beyond on the tub.

Scheduled an appointment for two days after my problem appeared. Was told I needed to re-schedule because Harts didn’t have enough technicians scheduled that day.

The process was very professional. I sent photos of my claw foot tub and elderly porcelain sink to Bathtub Guy. I was given an estimate for resurfacing within a day and they quickly answered several questions I had via both phone and email. Once we worked out a day for the work they showed up on time and worked quickly and cleanly. During the work they determined that rather than resurface the claw foot tub, it would be better to refinish my tub which would result in a slightly less white surface but would last much longer. I went for this option (same cost). The sink looks good too. There are a couple of places around the faucet handles where there are small gaps in the resurfacing but I think this was a difficult area to get to. After the work was complete they gave me instructions for care of the new surfaces. I am still pleased with their work.

I Need A Plumber Now

They got back to me quickly. They quoted me the price. It was an emergency situation. So they were able to get out here and I really appreciated that. The first time the gentlemen came out, he was scheduled to come out, he called me and he was on another job and unable to come out. So we had to take some days off work to accommodate their schedule. Then he came and he installed it, wasn't finished well, and then we had a leak, they had to come back, and then their repair wasn't professional. Like the repair was something, it's an exposed piece of plumbing and it's not good looking, it's not finished looking. I mean it did the job, you know, we had company coming, it was right before Thanksgiving, so they got the job done so we could have a bathroom.

He successfully filled a couple of small holes, repaired the pits and rust stains around the drain hole, then sprayed it with his 'magic' bright white coating. The sink is better than new. He is a craftsman and takes pride in his work, which is excellent.

A young woman arrived on time and began to prep the sink for another person to do the reglazing. She must have spent 2 hours on the job. She pointed out the missing chunk and said it would be hard to fix. I told her not to bother, since it would be out of sight, near the wall. I said she should just take the wrench that had done the damage and whack the person who was holding it at the time. She said she was not licensed for that job. Two hours later, she showed me what she had done. The sink had been scrubbed with hydrochloric acid and looked almost new. And the chunk was gone! It was probably 7" long, and it was just gone! She had used bondo to fill it in. Invisibly. Then the reglazer arrived. Another long time later, he showed me his work. His dazzling work. The sink was brand new, whiter than white, smooth and free of flaws.

Initially, we were only going to have the shower stall pan redone as well as countertops and backsplashes, but when Ryan arrived to give us the estimate, he pointed out that having the entire stall redone would probably look a lot better, as we are completely redoing both bathrooms; ie sinks, faucets, flooring, millwork, lighting fixtures, and framing out the mirrors. We're so glad we took his suggestion, as it has made a HUGE difference. The shower stall looks brand new!! The shower stall glass and glass framing were completely removed prior to starting the process, to give the best possible result. Eduardo arrived to start the job on time, and immediately got to work. He was very pleasant and explained exactly what he would be doing that day. Ryan had also explained the process at the time he gave us the estimate, but it was nice to hear it again and have the same thing said. It was a late afternoon appt., so the first day was spent masking, taping off and laying plastic to protect the areas that weren't done. Eduardo arrived early (7:30am) the 2nd day, and started to work. It's a pretty smelly process, even with all the venting and fans that are used. We didn't sleep in our bedroom that night, but used the guest room, due to the smell. The process is amazing and the results were exactly what we had hoped for. The consistency of the new countertops and backsplash remind me very much of the look of Corian, but not quite as smooth. The nice thing about having the backsplashes done, no more grout to clean. It is completely covered and sealed. Eduardo was able to get both countertops and backsplashes done, except for the top coat of sealant in the guest bath, that 2nd day. The 3rd morning Eduardo arrived early again (7:30am) and got the sealant applied. While that was drying, he was removing the protective coverings in the master bath. When that was done, the sealant in the guest bath had dried to the point where he could remove the protective coverings. As it takes a full 24hr. for the process to dry, we couldn't use the master bath the 1st or 2nd days. And the guest bath couldn't be used, except for toilet and tub/shower, the 2nd and 3rd days. We didn't need to have the tub in the guest bath redone because it doesn't get that much use and was in good shape. All in all, we were very pleased with our choice of rejuvenating, rather than replacing. There was some slight overspray of sealant in the guest bath, in the corner of the countertop, but it's hardly noticeable. The only real concern I had was the conflicting advice we were given as to whether we should pull the sinks before the process was started, as we were replacing the old sinks with new ones. As the plumber couldn't get to the sinks before the job was due to be started, we went ahead with the process. In hindsight, have your sinks pulled out before starting. Fortunately, I made Eduardo aware that we were going to replace the sinks, so he didn't apply the final caulking around the sinks and very carefully scored the caulk that was there, to make it easier for the plumber to pull out and replace the sinks. Our plumber was masterful and meticulous, in removing the sinks and dropping in the new ones. Everything matched out beautifully and when he applied the final caulk around the sinks, you couldn't tell they hadn't been pulled prior to the start of the project. If there had been some mismatch, Eduardo would have come back and repaired the area around the sinks. The other caution I would give with this process, is the amount of and quot;stuffand quot; that gets into the air and floats around. Even though everything not undergoing this process is covered with plastic, masked and taped and all kinds of ventilation is used, as well as the doors being kept closed, we still found some clear and quot;productand quot; on the floors, mirrors, bathroom cabinets, door handles, and our wood floors in the master bedroom. The mirrors in both bathrooms cleaned with lots of scrubbing with a Teflon sponge and baking powder, so as not to scratch the surfaces, and lots of Windex. The floors, cabinets, and door handles don't look any different. It didn't change the color, but they're just not as smooth as they were prior to having this process done. In spite of the couple of and quot;hiccupsand quot; we had, I'd do this again in a minute! The people were wonderful to work with; from Crystal in the office, Ryan doing the estimating and explaining, and Eduardo doing the actual job. Everything was cleaned up at night, they arrived on the right date and time and Eduardo is one of the hardest workers I've ever seen. He takes pride in his work and it shows. We have a 5 year guarantee on materials and workmanship and if taken care of properly (no harsh abrasives or bleach), there isn't any reason this process won't last 20-30 years! In our minds this was the right product for our bathroom remodels, and we couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. It looks fantastic!!

There is a blemish on the sink and when I called to see if they could come by and look at it to give me their opinion, he told me that I must of damaged it. I sent him photos, text messages and have left voicemails and they haven't called back. It is unfortunate that they aren't even taking the time to review this blemish. They did good work for the majority of the project, and the price was relatively close to what was quoted over the phone. Not owning the finished product, or even taking a look at the blemish has not sit well with me.

The owner very prompt and professional. Responded quickly to my inquiry, described the work involved and, once we agreed on a day and time, he was here and ready to work. He said it would take about 4 hours and it did. Once completed, since I was unable to come by right away, he sent me before and after photos by cell phone, looked great. He provided all warranties and documents by email right after our phone conversation. All work was done well and as described, he re-caulked all areas around the base and tube enclosure professionally; I couldn't be more satisfied with the work, responsiveness and price. It is clear the owner takes pride in his craft.

Technician was rude to us (the homeowner) and the contractor overseeing the remodeling project. He did not complete the reglazing to our satisfaction on one bathtub and after a couple of months the glaze wore through and the original blue color showed through on one spot. We did not drop anything or put any harsh cleansers on the tub to clean it; yet the technician questioned us and denied being responsible for his poor workmanship. The homeowner and the contractor both had very unpleasant verbal confrontations with the technician over the incomplete work.

It was wonderful to work with Hadrian. He was able to start the project much sooner than the other contractors we contacted and had a better price, too. He worked with me to help me get the right tile and was very patient when we had some setbacks (the tile was delayed, the toilet was backordered, etc). He completed the job quickly and always responded right away via text if I had questions about materials or scheduling. Our house is old (late 1930s) and almost all the walls, including the bathroom walls, are lath and plaster. Hadrian had to remove the lath and plaster under the tile surround and rebuild with drywall before laying the new tile, and he did a great job. He also reinforced the wood underneath the tile floor where it had started to sink and warp and was able to get the new tile level and even with the door. The bathroom looks beautiful now and we're so happy to have it done!

They were easy to work with. I scheduled through e-mail and then they came out. The payment was easy. I just left them a cheque and I wasn't even there. They collected the cheque and did the work, and they actually did some stuff that I didn't think they were going to do. That came out very nice. They did a better job than I was expecting them to do.
