Basement Project We absolutely love our new basement! I was very nervous when selecting the contractor for this job. I interviewed three contractors for the job, all seem very decent, but what set Best Home apart was Jeff Segovia. He designed the whole layout of our basement (we love it) and oversaw the entire project from beginning to end. The construction crews were very polite and friendly. Best Home did an excellent job and very flexible with many changes I had and they completed the job on time (took 3 months and exactly 1 week)which was amazing. I am actually hiring them again for additional projects. I highly recommend Best Homes!

Jeff was very professional throughout the project. We were on a tight schedule and they kept everything on track. The basement turned out beautifully! Very pleased with the end result.

came by to look at job. promised a quote the same day, that was April 1st. messaged and called several times. no quote. on 4/16 was given a number in a differnt state to call. they asid i would haev the quote that day. it is now 4/22 and still no quote. one time i was asked who came by to look at the job, like they don't even keep records of who they send out. horrible customer service. hired someone else.

I am so happy with the remodel!! The crew was great, very friendly, professional, and polite. The foreman was very educated and explained every step. I highly recommend Jeffry and his crew!!

Called for an estimate last week and the receptionist suggested Monday at 2 and I agreed, I stayed home from work and this company was a no-call, no-show. I called at 2:20 and spoke to the scheduler and she said she was going to contact the estimator. She never calls back. I call at 2:40 and my calls go to voicemail. I call again at 2:50 and she picks up and says let me contact the estimator, then I hear nothing else. Don’t recommend! If they can’t come out for a simple estimate, I wouldn’t trust them to do my home.

I had them scheduled to do estimate and on one ever showed up. After waiting an hour I called the company and the person said they would reach out to the person scheduled for my house and call me back, they never called me back after waiting another 2 hours I tried calling them 2 more time and no one would even answer the phone.

Best Homes did an excellent job finishing our basement. Work was good quality and we would recommend them for any home interior project.

I would absolutely recommend Best Homes LLC. Jonathan and Jeffrey did an excellent job on my basement remodel. I was on a time crunch to sell my house and urgently needed to remodel my basement by building a full kitchen with wet bar, installing wood floor and stairway, interior painting, and light fixture replacements. They promised to complete this in a month, but got it done in less than 30 days, all without sacrificing quality. It was so stunning, just one week after they finished, I got an offer on my home. I have never seen a group of people work in such a coordinated, efficient, and diligent manner. His separate teams for plumbing, electricity, carpentry, flooring, and cabinet and appliance installation were extremely punctual, professional, and dedicated, sometimes working well into the evening. They never missed a schedule. The quality of their work was supreme. All county inspections passed. Jonathan also went above and beyond to accommodate my change orders along the way, and turned out very nicely. Above all, their pricing was very reasonable and more competitive than most quotes I got. I want to say thank you to Jonathan and the team and wish Best Homes LLC continued success!!!

Everything went extremely well and within budget. Multiple options and recommendations were provided by Best Homes too aid before and during construction. An unfinished basement was converted into a bedroom, full bath, private office and living area which will add value to the home. Everything was done in a professional and timely manner.

We are very pleased with the final product. Nice craftmanship, excellent communication, and response are very polite and professional workers. We will use them again for other projects.

Johnathan knows how to manage the project and building code in Fairfax county VA. His teams are very professional and highly skills. Of course, during the construction period, we do encounter with conflicts and schedule but at the end Jonathan resolved it and keep the project moving forward. Thank you Johnathan.

Jonathan and team were great to work with. They were very accommodating with various design changes that we made along the way as well as allowing us to specifically decide every small detail (such as outlet placement) to fit our needs and the price point was well below other quotes we received. The work was exceptional in my opinion and we are very happy with how the basement turned out which included a living room with fireplace and built-ins, bedroom, bathroom, and exercise room. The team showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves daily so we didn't have to have an unsightly dumpster out in front of our house during the whole project which I appreciated. The only downside (although we did not mind) was that whereas other contractors will give you a fancy 3-D rendering of the plans, this team does not. We knew exactly what we wanted so the 3-D plans was not an issue for us, and given some of our neighbors paid double our price tag for that 3-D picture and other bells and whistles, I feel we got a better deal.

I think it would hurt Angie’s list reputation to continue to recommend this company.
