"I hire Kestners Handyman service to repair my floor, install insulation under floor, install support beams to add support and make sure the floor was sturdy enough to walk on. Then lay down laminate over the floor once finished then install linoleum over the floor. Chris I think is his name came over to check out the what I needed done at 10:30 am Wednesday December 15th. He sounded like he knew what he was doing from just talking to him. He said was going to add supports so the floor wouldn t sink in and be leveled he was going to repair a hole in my floor install insulation and cut a new piece to close to floor and install laminate. I didn t ask want to hire him to install my cabinet I just mainly wanted my floor done but he wrote it up to install cabinets anyway so he can require more money up front and said he ll charge me 600 to do the floors needed half of the 600 before he start so I gave him 400$. He came late at 5:30pm at night instead of 9am as expected. He didn t come with all his own material. He asked to use my staple gun to install the insulation and then but the insulation in rushing any kind of way which him and his accomplice left many openings and gaps in between the insulation and didn t even use the staple gun when walked outside to take a phone call I came back in to see they was trying to rush wasn t installing the insulation right I became suspicious and started asking question like I thought you said you where going to put the thin layer of floor down that s on the porch over the insulation before you put the subfloor down. Which he didn t do I went to the store for 5 minutes to get something to drink and when I came back they were done already so I asked what did he do the floor was far from finished he didn t apply no sealant or foam for the gaps he left in the floor the floor had no additional supports added like he said the floor was uneven and not flush with the other the supports he claim he added was two small boards that didn t connect or added support anywhere he claimed to add then he asked me for the rest of the money and I said I thought you didn t require the rest of the money until completion I wasn t satisfied what he did so far. He gone say oh you thought I was doing the whole floor today no I was just closing it up I was going to do the rest when I start on you cabinets. I was like the floor was the main thing I hired you for I don t need you to put my cabinets in I need you to get my floor right he promised to finish it up on Friday or Saturday I gave him 200$ more then he never called or showed back I had to pay someone else to come back install the insulation properly install real support beams to stable the floor and repair the very small hole in the floor and lay the laminate down what he supposed to did then he had the nerve to give out suggestions what he would ve done if I hired him as if I didn t hire him. I told him I m not satisfied and everyone wants to get paid and required up front fees but don t want to do the work he reinsured me he was going to finish the work Friday or Saturday and never heard from him again after he took my money he only worked for 30 mins to 45 minutes to be on the safe side. So I paid 600 for a half of hour of work only 15 percent of the work was done he offered."

"Jason was very trustworthy. I trusted that what he said and what he gave us in the quote was what he was going to do, and that is exactly what happened. When he said he was going to be here, he was here. What he said he was going to do what he got here, he did. I do not get that with a lot of other people. -Linda S."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

The best plan of action for an unhealthy or unsafe tree will depend on its condition. An arborist can recommend whether trimming or removal is the right call for your tree. Preventive tree trimming can keep trees safe and healthy, so make regular tree trimming a part of your yard maintenance plan.

Probably the most cost-efficient way to remove a tree stump is to use Epsom salts, which help accelerate the rotting process making it easier to remove by hand once nature has taken its course. Burning a tree stump doesn’t tend to cost much either, but is a riskier DIY method.

Once you confirm a tree is dead, you should remove it. Dead trees eventually fall, and larger trees in particular can cause damage to rooftops, fencing, flowers, and other objects. As we mentioned, letting decayed wood stay in your yard also invites risks to the surrounding landscaping and vegetation.

Rock salt or Epsom salt can damage and kill tree roots over several weeks and can even assist in removing the tree's stump. However, you need to drill holes or cut into the stump and surface tree roots to inject them properly with the salt. Repeat the process every two weeks until the roots visibly rot away.

The main disadvantage of stump grinding is that it requires use of heavy and dangerous machinery, meaning you should hire a professional to tackle it, increasing the removal cost. Another drawback of stump grinding is that it can cause root decay in the root system left behind. The remaining wood may develop this type of decay, making it difficult to replant a new tree or plant in that spot in the future.
