" Fabulous job done by the company!  Right from the start Luis Figueroa was on time for the appointment, listened to what we had to say, made valuable suggestions and assured us we'd have a beautiful screened in porch!  We interviewed 2 other companies and chose Deck Builders because of the professionalism displayed by Luis and the price point was the best!
The crew was very professional.   Showed up rain or shine!  They worked from morning until dusk and completed the project in about 3 weeks.  If we had a question Franc would answer it or find the answer for us.  All products used are top quality and we expect our screened in porch to last forever!

"I am so happy with my new patio! They also covered my concrete steps with stones that match the patio and it all looks so good. On the first visit they provided a professional overview and showed me past projects and ideas for what i could have done. Then, they were able to do the whole thing while I was out of town. It was great!"

"Excellent! George was able to match the wood and stain perfectly and deliver a king side bed that looks exactly like the set was purchased together."

"Needing to replace an old wooden patio with composite, we went back to the people who replaced our large deck several years ago, Avec Construction. The second experience was no different from the first. As far as customer service, prompt visits to review the project, several recommendations to improve the results, and many samples to choose the best product for the job, and a detailed spec drawing of the project. Once agreed to, work started in just a few weeks, and the team was outstanding. Several days were spent on the foundation and getting it perfect before completing the rest of the job. Exactly what you need for a patio or deck. There was communication continually throughout the project and we could not be more pleased dealing with the entire Avec team."

"We were very pleased with AIM. They were easy to work with, worked hard all day (though there were a couple rain delays) and had the project finished within about six days. It was the same guys each day. They explained what was going on. They were easy to work with when we had to alter plans slightly. I would use them again and recommend them. The sales were low pressure and we were not asked to wait until they had another local job as another company did. Our job was a small driveway, walkway and step resurfacing with handrail."

"price is better other places magnets do not work keeping panels connected"

"Excellent service and install all around! Vernon Jones was so responsive and professional, and they took great care navigating some challenges with a shared fence. His team was incredible! Complete dismantling of an old fence and install of a new one in one day! The product/fence is beautiful and the price much lower than area companies. Thank you, Vernon and team!"

"They did a great job and were very reasonably priced."

"Sunshine was amazing! Nate Sullivan and his crews were great to work with on our new roof and gutter installation as well as window replacement! Very professional, reasonably priced with quality work and products. Will use them for all future repair and renovations. Have referred them to many who have also been very satisfied as well!"

"Painting by Rick was referred to us by our HOA, who had notified us as soon as we purchased the house that our roof rake boards were deteriorating and needed to be replaced and repainted. Rick is not very good about answering his phone, but if you leave him a voicemail, he will usually gt back to you within a couple hours.  He was able to give me an estimate over the phone, based on the photos I sent him.  He was able to make an appointment to complete the work within a week.
Rick himself didn't come to do or supervise the work, but the two guys he sent (whose names I can't remember) showed up on time and were very nice and very professional. The end result is beautiful.  The total ended up being more than the estimate (about $200 more), because they had to purchase more materials than Rick had anticipated, based on the photos.
Here are a couple issues I had:
1) I was hoping that when Rick/the two guys showed up, we could discuss various options (such as just replacing the parts of the wood that were rotted, rather than the entire boards).  I was also a little concerned that the deterioration of the wood was indicative of some larger leakage/rotting problem in or under the roof eaves.  The two guys didn't speak the best English, so I wasn't entirely confident that they understood what I was asking, and I decided to go ahead and replace the whole board, just to keep things simple. I am still slightly concerned that there may be some rotting going on behind the boards.
2) At the end of the day, the two guys needed a check, but couldn't tell me the amount I owed. They had receipts for the materials, but didn't know what Rick charged for the labor. One of the guys called Rick several times to ask, but got no response.  Rick had mentioned the labor rate to me over the phone, but it was sort of in passing, and I wasn't sure I remembered the amount correctly (he charges $560 for two guys for one day).  In the end I wrote a check for the amount I thought was right, and called Rick again to ask him to confirm.  Not a big deal, but it seemed like unnecessary confusion.
Based on the high quality of the work, and how quickly we were able to have it taken care of, I would use these guys again.  I think the price was reasonable, although being a first-time homeowner, I don't have a lot of experience in this area.  Next time though, I would like to try to get Rick himself out to discuss any work that needs to be done in more detail.
