"Manor works recently stained the exterior of my house, in addition to some minor wood rot repair and replacement. Alfredo and his crew took the utmost care in every detail of their work, going above and beyond expectation. For example, my house is 38 yrs old, and has been stained many times before and after we purchased it. Never in those 38 yrs has it ever been stained underneath the gutter downspouts. It is now! They took great care of protecting all the windows/doors/stone foundation/light fixtures from paint overspray. "Ray Gibbs and his staff powerwashed and stained my deck, painted the exterior and portions of the interior of my home, and did numerous drywall repairs, in addition to replacing several light fixtures.  I had estimates from 2 other companies, and the quote from Gibbs Painting was comparable with the other two.  Ray was very flexible in scheduling the work.  He and his workers were prompt, courteous, and showed up when they said they would.  They cleaned up at the end of each day.
My deck had been neglected by the previous homeowner, and was in such bad shape that I wasworried I was going to have to replace all the wood floor boards.  Ray was able to clean and preserve the wood and made it look great!  I was home for part of the powerwashing and was able to see how detailed he was in insuring that he covered every inch of the deck.
 I had several large sections of drywall that needed repair, in addition to repairs to the ceilings where the new light fixtures were installed.  I must say that I was extremely pleased at the drywall repairs.  When I have had drywall repaired in the past I have been able to "see" where the hole was, but Ray's repairs made the wall look like it had never been damaged.
Ray assisted me with choosing colors for the painting I had done.  The colors looked great, and the painters were meticulous.  
I am very happy with the results of the work that Gibbs Painting performed for me.  I have recommended them to many friends, neighbors, and family members.

"Very messy painters, seemed like someone who was taken off the street to paint. Paint splatters on floors. Painted deck, do not believe they used the amount of the pre paint solution I had bought and did not do two coats, I bought 2 gallons of deck paint from sherwin williams and they didnt even use one whole gallon, did not paint one of the deck post that was in the ground. Paint didnt even last through one summer, told owner and said he would be back in late spring (2016) to remain the deck, never saw them again."

"They did a decent job at staining my deck, but they missed a few spots. I asked the owner to address this issue and he said he would send his folks to take care those spots. Unfortunately, no one ever came do those touch ups. Overall, follow up was poor and non-existent based on my experience. This is an update on my previous review. The owner reached out to me and apologized for the delay in the touch up work and promptly came back and completed the touch ups personally. Overall, I'm happy with how my deck looks. Based on this and my interaction with the owner, I do believe that this company cares about its customers' satisfaction and that my initial experience may have been an exception rather than the norm."

"Had them come to do some interior painting for our home. Did get an estimate from another company and Pint the DMV was less by a significant margin. Unfortunately the week of our appointment there was heavy rain in the area which caused our project start date to move back 3 days however Steve let me know early in the week and I was able to accomodate without any issues. On the day of the project, they arrived on time. Their prepwork was perfect, no extra pain on the carpet or trim. We had them paint 3 bedrooms, kitchen, living, and family room (walls only) before we moved into a new home. End results looked great! They were even able to patch up a hole in the wall were the previous owners and run cables through. All in all, the wife and I were extremely happy with the end result. I anticipate calling them in spring for some more work (likely exterior/deck staining) and maybe another bedroom. Thank you."

"Jeff Newlin and his team are true professionals. We recently hired Jeff to paint the exterior of our house, detached garage, and barn. The quality of the work is exceptional. Here's what we liked about Jeff Newlin Painting: 1. The team was prompt. They arrived each morning at 7:30A like clockwork. They wrapped up each day by 4P. 2. Jeff clearly loves his team. Jeff pays them well, he does not overwork them (as many contractors do), and when the summer heat became too intense, Jeff took his crew home. 3. As a result, Jeff's crew showed care in everything they did. They were respectful of our home, asked questions, and were very polite. 4. The prep work and carpentry was top notch. Jeff's team seamlessly replaced any rotten wood. I can't find any signs of patching, even though I know where to look. 5. Jeff Newlin painting uses top grade Benjamin Moore paint. 6. Paint application was outstanding. Jeff's team changed our house from a yellowish-tan to a modern gray in two coats. There is absolutely no sign of the underlying color. 7. Jeff was onsite daily, and always available by text or phone. 8. At the end of the job, site cleanup was spotless. 9. Jeff has been very agreeable to coming back for touch ups (We installed new exterior lights, and Jeff returned to touch up around the edges).
