"Marvin and his team were true professionals through and through. We had a four day job that included repainting an entire interior of a house on three levels and exterior doors and shutters. Marvin was super willing to work with us on our colors, the actual painting team were all very friendly and spent the time to expertly apply the paint to all areas. At the end of everyday the team would walk through with us to show us the progress and see our thoughts on the quality. For an entire house there were almost no touch ups required and when we didn’t like a color of a certain room, they gladly repainted when we asked. We couldn’t have chosen a better company to come paint our home, we would recommend paint the DMV to anyone who wants a professional job done!"

"Despite much back and forth with my HOA over the span of two months, Worgens Painting remaining patient, flexible, and responsive with providing updated quotes. I’ll add that I had four other companies quote labor/materials for staining the deck and fence, along with replacing warped or damaged boards. Worgens quote was fair and reasonable in comparison to the other estimates I received. Worgens painters did an excellent job with the repairs, even patching up areas that were not discussed during the labor estimation process. Additionally, the painters had great attention to detail, applying two layers of high quality stain to the deck and fence. I’m very impressed with the results, and have received compliments from my neighbors as well. I only have one minor complaint that prevents a five star rating. The quote promises that anything removed from the deck will be put back in its original place. This did not happen, and several debris such as residual wood, screws, and old hardware were left scattered throughout the yard. A little more effort to clean up the area upon conclusion of the project would have been appreciated. Again, very minor complaint that does not diminish the quality of their craftsmanship. Overall, I highly recommend Wogens and would hire them again without hesitation."

"Alfredo and his team (Jose, then Pablo) did an excellent job in fixing many cracks in two bedrooms-turned-home offices, then sanding and painting the walls, ceilings, trim, and closets. They also patched a hole in the basement ceiling that a plumber left from a previous job. Alfredo is a smart and passionate business owner and does his work with quality and care. He estimated that the job would take 5 days, and it was completed in 4 with no corners being cut. They all were friendly and customer-focused throughout the job, and they were helpful in moving furniture that we were not able to do beforehand. I was impressed that Alfredo himself was here the entire time and didn't leave to work on other jobs during the day. I would absolutely work with Alfredo and Solis/Wall Covering Country in the future and have several projects in the queue right now. The estimate was higher than the other two I received, but I was not convinced that I would receive the same quality of work and excellent customer service with the less-expensive firms. You should paint your home exterior every five to 10 years, on average. Climate and surroundings can affect how well paint holds up. Wood siding will likely need a fresh coat of paint every three to seven years. Paint on brick tends to last about eight to 17 years, on average.
There are a few ways to make your deck look new without professional power washing. First, you can use either store-bought cleaners or dish soap and water to mop your deck regularly to clean off accumulated dirt. To clean your deck and remove mold, mix two gallons of warm water with a ½ cup of distilled white vinegar or apple cider vinegar, rinse the area, and then scrub with a stiff-bristled broom.

Other cost factors include your location, the type of siding (e.g., wood, aluminum, brick, stucco, etc.), and the kind of paint (e.g. oil-based, latex, acrylic, etc.). Painting the trim a different color or painting intricately designed trim can also increase the cost.
